Hello, guys! It has been unusually cold here in LB. I was not prepared for this weather so aside from my jackets, all I had were casual day-to-day clothes. Lucky enough, I brought this baseball jersey so I was able to layer a little.

I’m really a fan of baseball jerseys. Whenever I wear one, I only button the first two for the rest of the jersey to be free. It was just perfect because it’s really breezy right now here in LB so it flies just like how I want it to. 

Studded leather bracelet from SM Accessories. The ‘legend’ part of the jersey is actually leather so I added these bracelets to match it.

Watch from Casio. 

Denim on denim is one of the combinations that will never go out of style. It’s a good thing that Penshoppe produced this jersey giving the usual combination a twist.

Neo Se Daily Clean from Adidas. I bought these in a Sports Central sale. I was actually hesitant about getting it because I was not really interested in a white pair then, but my brother pushed me and told me it was a steal.

This is the third consecutive style entry here in the blog and I think I’m back at the fashion blogger mode again. I haven’t shot any other blog post but I hope I’ll be able to share other content soon! I’m glad I can still squeeze in time for this stuff. Dressing up and blogging make me feel a lot better.

Some days just call for a chill outfit. Now that registration here in UPLB is still ongoing and there’s just a lot to do, one can never set aside comfort. But even when this series of queuing is over, LB will still require a lot of walking. That is why looks like this one come in handy.

Shirt - Nike (Gift), Shorts - Gift, Training Shoes - Adidas

This shirt has been with me since sophomore year of high school and is one of my favorites. It never fails to get compliments whenever I wear it.

Aside from comfortable clothes, shoes that are easy to move around in is a must in this campus. This is maybe why a lot of people ditch their sneaks at times and go for sports shoes.

Essential Star .2 from Adidas. I was blessed enough (thank the heavens) to get a PE class this semester so my parents bought me this pair of training shoes. (Heh, spoiled kid.)

Even though I don’t really need to attend one because varsities are given privilege forms for PE classes, I still opted to take mine. I missed playing volleyball so much and I hope I’m gonna be able to play even better than high school.

I might need to wear this pair on PE days to spare me the hassle of carrying them around. I have dance training after classes, anyway. So more outfits like this, I guess?

I’m that kid who doesn’t easily let go of things, especially my clothes! A good amount of shirts still lie on my cabinet and even though I cannot use them anymore, I just can’t throw them out. There are some pieces however that I still find useful - just like this shirt I wore to prom.

It’s crazy how it’s been nearly four years and I can still wear this. I’ve demoted most of my button down shirts into cover-ups, but I can still rock this one as it is. I even wore this to a theater production. (Where I attended a prom, btw. Nostalgic!)

This leather bag was a gift from a YFC friend.

Watch from 24:01. Even though this watch is somehow basic, the clock hands won’t always fit color palettes because of the hint of red. It’s a good thing that the red detail perfectly suited this outfit in particular.

To be honest, I’ve been planning this outfit ever since I realized I can still use my old prom shirt. I was just waiting for a pair of mandals then. I’m glad I was finally able to put it all together.

I will always be an advocate of affordable fashion. So rummage through your closet and find pieces that you can still wear. Save yourself a few hundred pesos from using old clothes. If it looks good and it fits, wear it!

Throwback! This post contains photos from two buffets my friends and I tried out last year. Both dates happened on June (yup not even recently hah) and my tummy was really happy that month. Due to lack of time and pump to blog (I was in hiatus for six months!), I was not able to share what went on when we tried out these two affordable eat-all-you-can. And since it’s been so long, I think I can’t give a decent review of these places already. Just enjoy the photos I took!

For those who have a sweet tooth, Gillian Gail Dessert Buffet is definitely for you! For only P299, enjoy a wide variety of desserts from cakes to bakes to candies to even ice cream and macarons.

Panna Cotta 

Gillian Gail also serves Palitaw and other Pinoy desserts. This isn’t on their spread and needs to be ordered.

Macarons are some expensive treats so these are one of their sulit items. However, these sweets also need to be ordered. There’s no additional fee for orders, tho. These items aren’t just on their spread.

To break the sweetness, the place also serves nachos, fish balls, and siomai (which we loved, btw).

For K-pop and K-drama fans, Don Day will give you a feast of Korean food. Their main attraction are their grill tables where customers get to cook samgyupsal. There are a looooooooot more Korean food options aside from their famous pork strips, all for P299. 

The thrill behind this buffet is that you get to eat Korean food even without knowing what they are called. lol That is if you’re not familiar with Korean food. The spread isn’t labeled so you get to eat with pure instinct.

Hello people, happy new year! To kickoff 2016, here’s a fashion entry which features a style that I think is gonna be my peg for the entire year - homeless. It’s been quite some time since my last style post and I’m happy to have worn and shot this outfit on the first day of the year. Not gonna make any promises but that’s a really good start.

What I like about the homeless look is that it’s very chill. It’s like you get out of bed and you’re just ready to wear anything you see. I’ve worn several homeless outfits this break and a few friends said I look like a tito. It’s kinda funny but I think that’s what I’m really gunning for.

Watch from 24:01, a brand by Zalora. Aside from this timepiece, I’ve bought a pretty good amount of clothes from the brand already. Expect to see more of them in upcoming style entries.

May I just say, putting on Bench and Penshoppe together feels a bit weird for me. (Nothing major here lol hahahaha.)

Mandals from Zalora. This is really my favorite right now! I bet you guys will see this a lot in here. It’s been so abused so I’d have to order another pair. Wearing mandals tweak up the entire look, choosing sneaks would’ve made it just another outfit.

Here’s to more homeless looks and more blog entries this year!

Since the start of the burger craze last year, the search for the best burger joint has never stopped. In Mandaluyong alone, shops just kept on sprouting giving us way too many options to choose from. This time however, my friends and I opted for a shop off bounds our city.

Sabroso Comfort Food lies just a few blocks from the Bacood-Kalentong bridge making it still convenient for us to reach the place. We didn’t even have to take the jeepney after walking off the bridge, we just followed directions on google maps until we saw signages leading to the shop.

The place was pretty packed when we got there but we were lucky enough to get seats right away. Based on Facebook reviews, the situation we arrived at was far from usual as we didn’t have to wait too long for a spot inside.

Let’s now get to the food. Of course, we ordered burger’s ultimate partner, fries. This Cheesy Fries costs only P55 which tastes just right for its price.

Nina and Rhea ordered Bacon Mushroom Melt - P85. Nina just wanted bacon on her burger so she gave the mushrooms to me. I’d say Sabroso serves the tastiest and most generous amount of mushroom among burger shops of the same concept.

The two were feeling a lot like twins that day and they ordered the same drink. They bought Blue Lemonade which costs only P20 a glass.

Another appetizer that we shared was this Beefy Nachos for P60. This didn’t live up to its name that much as it wasn’t really beefy. Still, it’s affordable but the nachos weren’t the cheap type.

I was supposedly ordering this burger only if Mariel didn’t go for it first. Hickory - P95, served in a black bun was really intriguing. I warned Mariel about the green poop thing by BuzzFeed tho resulting from eating BK’s black buns. She didn’t mind because she said the burger tasted good! I’m definitely getting this the next time.

Aside from the black buns, Sabroso also has red buns for their Hot Chili Con, another reason to be back.

This looks like something a gothic person would order. It’s so dark!

As for our drinks, Mariel got herself a Rootbeer Float - P40. I was getting the same thing but the crew lured me (lol) into trying their milkshake, telling me that it’s ice cream-based. How could I say no? I bought Strawberries and Cream for P90. Compared to other shops, their shakes are pricier.

I ate their Aloha - P90. Aside from really good patties, I think what I’m gonna be looking for in my next burger adventures is great pineapple. Sabroso’s Aloha was good, but not as juicy as Vonskie’s (located at Barangka). Still, it’s a good competitor. Their burgers come with potato chips, which Pringles fans will surely be happy about. 

Aside from the good food, their place is also really artsy and Instagram-friendly! I would love to get the same stuff pinned to their walls, mostly vintage plates and frames. Not only comfort for the tummy but comfort for the eye.

We were also shown around their two-floor extension. I guess that’s enough to say that Sabroso is the most successful hit among burger joints of its type, having to extend their shop to this big of a place. The crew even told us that at times, their shop gets so packed upto the second floor even with some customers left on queue. That’s some pretty serious market. 

Even with the boom of the business, the owners didn’t set aside the extension because it’s just as beautiful and neat as the main. Lots of good stuff can also be seen here.

This was weirdly attractive for me, one of my favorite spots in the shop.

For those who would want to visit them soon, here’s their menu. Everything’s affordable so you guys must try them out! I would definitely be back for their colored buns (!!!), and other food such as pasta and sandwiches.

I’ve been to Baguio a number of times before. Even so, something in me constantly wanted to go back to the city. After endless planning and rescheduling, a trip to the summer capital finally happened last December 12! That was when my aunts went home from the UK.

I’ve had a lot of firsts in Baguio, but the city’s just so big it has so much to offer. Even if Tam-awan Village has been around since the 90′s, I only had the chance to visit it during the latest trip. When I looked up what things can be done in Baguio, answers always include visiting this art village.

Tam-awan Village can be reached after a 15-20 minute drive. Our cab driver only remembered to turn his fare meter on halfway through the drive so we just handed him 70 pesos, the most expensive fare we paid for the entire trip.

Far from the usual go-to places in Baguio, Tam-awan actually lets its visitors experience culture of the Cordilleras. The village isn’t as crowded as the typical Baguio destinations making it easier to appreciate something more than the cold weather.

The village houses several galleries. This one in particular depicts houses of the natives. It requires shoes taken off before getting inside. Hanged on the walls are paintings and in the middle stands a set dreamcatchers. 

I was really wrong for choosing to wear this white pair of shoes during this trip. Baguio’s still a mountainous province, after all.

Hello there, Red Horse lovers. Haha!

Here are a few pieces from their souvenir shop, just as artsy as the stuff on display at the galleries.

This last gallery near the exit is unique for it houses works made from recycled materials. Artworks here seem to be a combination of indigenous and modern concepts. From old umbrellas to tires to old house equipment, artists show that even junk can be transformed into art.

Shown in these are transformation of things on exhibit.

Even on the way down, visitors can see this painted giant gecko. Such an artsy way to bid its visitors goodbye.

VSCO selects.

Just this week, God gave LB a gift which it truly needed - a new ice cream parlor. Due to the academic calendar shift, we now take classes under the wrath of the sun! I don’t usually complain because I actually love Mr. Sun but the heat becomes unbearable each day.

Lucky of us because we now have a place to make us feel better - Fiorgelato! When I went to class earlier this morning, I saw their newly opened store and I immediately texted my friends that we need to try it out.

And so we did! Six of them paired up and ordered One For All: 10 Flavors per pair which costs P150. Each cone contains ten scoops of ice cream! Perfect for couples or just for people who love ice cream that much. :)

Here’s what I ordered: One For All: 5 Flavors for P85. You have the choice to get your desired flavors or let them randomly select for you. I had cheese, choco nut fudge, strawberry, mango graham, and mint! Mint was the best (as always). :D

Here’s the menu! They also serve a lot of other stuff (including pizza, pasta, calzone, etc.) but because of the heat, ice cream is the only thing we care about right now!

Yesterday, we came all the way up to National Arts Center for the Symphonic Sunsets in Makiling. Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra, and Orchestra of the Filipino Youth were featured in it.

None of my classes required the show but when I learned it’s free and it’s gonna be held near PHSA, I knew I had to go. I’ve always wanted to see PHSA because it’s been my frustration ever since I found out about it. Too late, I was almost graduating from high school then. The place was stunning. I think it’s more than perfect for art students! Just seeing the beauty of the campus can give them so much inspiration.

Unfortunately, my phone wasn’t able to capture the view down below. I also brought my camera so I’ll check the shots taken by my friend and see if I can upload some more photos.

I hope I can come back next time, whenever I need some inspiration for writing or just a breather. :)

Hi guys! It’s been so long. *insert reasons and rants here* Whatever, haha! There’s no major reason, really. Not my acads or anything, I just lost the pump to blog. Well for now, take a look at some of the shots I took using my new phone. This is one thing I really enjoy doing right now. It brings out so much creativity and arte in me. Haha! What's up tumblr peops?! Been out for a while and I'm back with another foodie post! Had two Wednesdates already with my high school friends. One burger day which I'm really happy about because burgers... and one Filipino-Mexican day. :)

Got to try Minandal last January 7 and I gotta say, amazing food! I was already in awe when I opened my styro because the burger looks great. With the grilled patties and overflowing cheese, I was only able to say wow! (I'm actually salivating while writing this haha.)

Mariel and LA ordered Quarter Pounder - P70 with extra Bacon - P25.

Tero ordered Quarter Pounder as well, with additional Mozzarella for P25.

And I ordered Half Pounder - P99 with extra Bacon - P25 and Fries - P15. Look at that... double pattie covered with cheese then topped with bacon! YUMMEH! Until now I'm still hyped about this. Not to mention, the 15peso worth of fries was twice as much as that side. :)

Since we were celebrating our post-3rd anniversary, Mariel bought us these Oreo Cheesecakes. Such sweet friend. lol haha

On the 14th we tried Silantro which has been on our list for months because of Mariel's constant recommendation. The place is so famous that when we arrived at around 7pm, we're already 15th in line which had us waiting for 2 hours. Crazy? Haha. My ulcer actually got in the way of me enjoying my food. :(

Beef Skewers - 280. Too bad we asked for it to be well-done, it was burnt a little I guess. Served with a cup of rice but we had it for sharing.

Beef Quesadillas - P160. The bomb, the volcano! Look at that! Not the typical quesadilla but the best I had. :) Chunks of beef are covered in that oozing cheese. Whew! Plus, it comes with fresh cut fries.

Beef Nachos - P180. Wasn't actually ordering this but when I saw a plate on another table, I just knew we had to. And hell yea it was great! Also contains a huge amount of beef chunks and cheese.

Paella Fajita Mix - P250. There were lots of stuff in it - seafood, chicken, egg which made it taste good!

Even if it looks like it wasn't enough, it was actually too much. We still had a little stuff to take home. Well if my ulcer didn't bother me then I could've eaten them all. Haha! Might try the place again soon! Silantro is located at Kapitolyo, Pasig.

The other one of the two shoots I had on the last week of classes! In case you guys didn't see the first one, here it is. I just wanted to put up a ragged look in this. However, it is a bit ironic because everything was just light including the background.

We're actually supposed to hold the shoot at a place with black & yellow road lines and all that but we found this place on the way there. I just liked the mess haha and then there. I think the place suits the color of my outfit better.

I bought this shirt at first sight because it looks good and it's cheap (P200)! I really like full print shirts. This was the base of this mix. I added my boot necklace for a shoe overload. :)

Oh by the way, it was my first time doing the wrap-around thing. I wasn't comfortable even just thinking about it before. But I tried haha! I felt like a total hipster while walking around in this get up.

I've been using this pair as training shoes for more than a year now so it's dirty and almost completely worn out. Just right for the ragged feel.

Spent new year at my father’s hometown, Mindoro. Basically the reason why I was out of tumblr for a week. It was a simple but a fatty celebration! Haha. On the eve of 31st I was just hoping for the clock to strike 12 and when it did, I almost cried. 2014 wasn’t my best year. There’s a time when I was just wishing for it to end. It could’ve been the best, if the bad things didn’t cover the good ones. Maybe I didn’t really have a bad year, I just hated it so much. So much.

2015 will be nothing like last year. I’m sure I won’t let it be. Here’s to a better year, everyone!

Hi guys! I know by this time you're already cooking food or having fun with your families, and I'm here writing this blog post. Haha! Well I just wanted to share one of the things we did during the last week of school. We had this one thing we all love, pizza! You might also have this for Noche Buena later so...

This post would mostly be just photos of us because I liked our shots a lot! And also, we did nothing but devour that 30-inch pizza we ordered so what am I supposed to say?

For LB people who might wonder where this is, it's located near the bus stop in junction. They have a not so big place so better not go there on peak hours.

Jersey - Bench, Shorts - Bench, Shoes - Vans

Wore this outfit to the UP Diliman Lantern Parade last week. The jersey was one of things I bought for Christmas and I thought it would be perfect for the event because UP, okay. :)

I just wanted to wear something comfortable because I knew we'd be moving around a lot that day. But still, I didn't want to miss the chance to shoot an outfit post. The jersey + shorts combo was fine enough not to let me sweat too much.

Maginhawa food trip in the afternoon, the parade in the evening, and Maskipaps later that night, that was a really long day! Even a better reason to dress up but to stay feel good throughout the day.

This shirt combines my love for my school and for my dream school, UST.

My friend said that the outfit would've been dead only if there were no socks. So yea, thanks to this yellow pair for saving it! A first for me, maybe I must play with printed socks next time. :)

Did you guys know that I shot my very first outfit for this blog last year at the Lantern Parade? Oh how time flies. Haha! Happy anniversary fashion blogging. Hihihi.

This was the most challenging shoot I had, by far! Had like around 300 takes (lol haha!) because it was already dark and there were a lot of people moving on the background.

Hassle! Can't blame them cos the program was going on while we're shooting. Would just like to thank my forever amazing photog, Lyle, for never giving up! (She almost did, tho haha!)
