Could I request headcanons for dating Alexei please and thank you!

The first time the two of you met, it was literally when he was falling on top of you. Hop had told you to hang back with Joyce, but when you heard the gunfire you couldn’t help yourself; sneaking in behind a wall, you round the corner with flashlight raised in hand, ready to hit the bad guy over the head, only for a set of handcuffs to fall onto your face and knock you backwards.

When you looked up to see a shocked face with wide set glasses glancing back down at you, little did you know that your world was about to change. Were you two ever even strangers? Alexei wasn’t sure that you were. That moment he first saw you, even with the gunfire sparking over your heads, there was something even then, though he didn’t know what. He sometimes wonders if there’s an element of time that allows us to feel a strong love, like an orange glow bursting over a dark horizon.

He’s constantly bugging Murray during car journeys. Poor man has to sit in the middle seat between you and Alexei, and has to deal with Alexei hitting his chin against his shoulder as he tries to swivel around and stare at you.

Every time you catch him looking, he turns a dark shade of beetroot and slides back down his side, Murray constantly sighing and rolling his eyes as Alexei whispers things in his ear for him to translate until Jim finally has to yell at him to shut up from the front seat.

Always managing to bring him the correct flavour slurpee when the five of you stop off at 7-Elevens.

‘One more, mister! One more and then you’ve won the grand prize!’

The children hop around Alexei’s feet in delighted squeals as he looks down at them smiling, the baseball hopping slightly in his palm as he glances back at you. 

You shoot him a confident thumbs up, glancing around for any signs of trouble before he places one foot forward and aims the shot. The stall lights are blazing in his eyes as the carnival worker steps out of the way, the final stack of rusty old tins lining the slightly wooden shelf at the back of the oaken hut. 

Alexei bites down on his lip slightly, before arching his arm and taking the shot. ‘And we have a winner!’

Alexei starts jumping up and down with the children, not 100% sure what’s going on, but he approaches you holding out the giant Woody Woodpecker in his hands as he grins up at you from behind its ear, before he suddenly leaps up to squish the three of you into a big, tight bear hug.

He points up behind you as you accept the gift (after you finally manage to pry him off you, and you’re surprised to see him pointing at the giant Ferris Wheel.

As the seats rise with a squeaky creek, lifting you and Alexei into the cool night air, surrounding the two of you only with the burning stars and the distant sounds of delighted children, he slowly turns to face you, concerned as his hand still grasps yours in a death lock, his knuckles white. 

His hand reaches out to grab onto the bar around his waist in a tight grip as the seat lurches slightly, the wheel on the move again.

As you look into his eyes, bright and wild in contrast with the darkness behind him, properly looking and understanding the unspoken love that pours out with his gaze despite the fear he’s feeling, you grab him by the cheeks and pull him onto your lips, the soft and tender embrace conveying every feeling locked up inside you since the two of you had met.
