lmao everytime I see a “how to spot ai in a fanfic” post and they mention things like em dash, flowery prose, or single sentences, i go and do those exact things in my fanfic and we go and reverse psychology this ish hahahaha

I agree that those “how to spot ai in a fanfic” posts are harming the writing community as much as ai does (because it leads to witch hunts, speculations and accusations, and a lot of genuine writers have already stopped sharing their fics due to wrongful accusations) and I respect your dedication to go full reverse psychology on these people 😭🫡🫡
also nobody can tell if a fic is ai. they can guess, based on vibes. there are fics that I read and think “this is 99% ai” but I don’t say I KNOW that it’s ai, because unless the author themself says so, I’m assuming based on vibes, and there’s always this 1% chance of me being wrong. and like, it’s none of my business if it’s ai or human-made. I can make my own decisions on whether or not I’ll read it, but I’ll never say anything mean to the author or behind the author’s back. more importantly, even if a fic is tagged as ai-generated by the original poster, I’ll just mind my own business instead of harassing them.
