I am one of five lions.

As Aslan growled Cam tensed, readying himself in case this guy wasn’t the friendliest toward green mutants disturbing his nap time. Thankfully he didn’t appear to be making any aggressive movements, and his transformation back into his human form was far too distracting for Cameron to truly be on guard for a potential attack. He watched in awe of the shift, finding it oddly fascinating to have a power like that. He wanted to ask Aslan more then a few questions, but he held his tongue.

A muffled chuckle escaped Aslan's lips. "I can certainly tell," he paused as he attempted to figure out the correct word in English, "you seem to be a klutz by nature." It took a moment before he realized that such a direct retort could possibly be considered an insult. To him, the West seemed to have the emotionally and physically weak, they had few that would be able to take arms, unlike in his home of Panjsher, no matter their size, age or abilities, everyone would take arms when required. They were the land of the lions, they would never falter, never accept the rule of another.

Cam sighed as he watched Aslan sleep, and he tried to ignore the ‘freak’ and ‘mutant’ comments that tainted the beautiful afternoon air. He watched Aslan’s change curiously and put his head in his hand as he lay on his stomach in the grass. He still kept his distance, not wanting to end up like and of the bugs that had been swatted away by the lion’s tail.

The initial sound that came out of Cameron's voice had startled the lion and made him growl a bit before he began slowly transforming back to his human form. The man's transformation caused him to become half naked due to his tattered clothes but since the energy exerted due to the switching back and forth, he was too tired to change into the extra set of clothes he carries inside his bag.

Cam watched cautiously as Aslan fought his internal battle. He prayed that the man would calm down, enough to at least stop attacking him, and he watched him change between lion and human with a curious glint in his eyes. He’d never seen anything like it, and as he fell back to the grass in his lion form and lay down, Cam’s curiosity was even more piqued. He figured that couldn’t be any normal mutation, and the guys accent had him curious as well.

Aslan was slightly panting, it was a while that he's been transforming back and forth like he had just now so it was taking a lot out of him. On one hand he was exhausted, yet on the other he was lost and worried, thinking to himself just what it was he was seeking to achieve because surely he wasn't going to obtain it like this.

“You know, I honestly am sorry, it was accident. It wasn’t like i purposely tripped over you, I’m not-” Cam jumped back, dodging a punch. “But I guess if an apology-” he dodges another, feeling the air wiz past him “-means letting you beat me up-” He feels his stomach tighten as he dodges another punch and then the kick, this time actually feeling his foot tug at his clothes as it moved away from him, “then you’re right, I’m not that sorry.” He managed to spit out the end before he was tackled and landed on the ground with a ‘thud.’

Aslan had bit his lower lip, he had this strong desire and urge to just jump Cameron once more and pound the man but realized that it was such insolence that caused his temporary banishment. His temper and abilities are two things that are constantly being manipulated due to his lack of control and hold of them. His lips quivered just slightly as the lion's muzzle would appear back and forth. He stood somewhat shaking as he attempted to get a hold of himself.

Cam flipped onto his back and scrambled to his feet, realizing the guy was big, and clearly unhappy that Cam had tripped over him. “Woah- Woah buddy I didn’t mean to, it was an accident!” Cam tried to explain as he waved his hands defensively in front of himself. He guy had a thick accent and broken English, that much Cam could tell, but Cam was too distracted by the changes happening in the other man to continue to try and talk the guy down. 

"You Americans, always start a fight and can never seem to end it properly. Always making up excusing and giving fake apologies," he was saying this as Aslan began to loosen up a bit, he needed to relax and nothing would get him back to his day nap unless he gets to give the American punk, just what he had deserved.

The 'person' that Cam had tripped over wasn't too happy that anyone, let alone some American punk, had woken him up from his nap. He glared at Cam and stood up, motioning for the guy to come at him. "Let us see just how it is you will fight against me," he said in broken English. He was conversationally fluent in English but with his temper being as short as it is it can easily cloud his mind and butcher it even more.

"Does it make sense to have the foreigner lead you in your own country?" He snarled and continued with, "sounds rude to me. I won't be doing anything unless you force me into such a situation. And at that moment it will not matter if you are a woman or not. Hope you don't mind that I believe in equality not this chivalry crap the west preaches."

“I see I’ve struck a nerve… I apologize, Aslan. I’m just curious.” Beth watched the stranger extract his prayer beads and worry them through his fingers. “Let’s change the subject, shall we?” she said, smiling again. “I don’t have the authorization to clear you to return home, but Director Fury does. We can visit the helicarrier, which is where he’ll be. What do you say? I’ll get you a room with a view and maybe a good, hearty meal.”

"I see Americans are always quick to threaten those they don't understand," he said in a harsh tone. "I didn't say I wouldn't go with you and I think it's rude for you to threaten me before awaiting for my answer. I probably won't need a room after I discuss my situation with Director Fury."

Beth studied Aslan for a moment before replying, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Aslan, I’m Agent Ross… but you can call me Beth.” The agent took the empty chair and spun it around so she could sit in it backwards and lean against the back rest. “You’re free to do as you please, but may I ask you something?” She waited for a response, but when none came, she continued. “Why would the Afghan government beg us to train you just to have you turn around and go home?”

Since she wasn't a familiar he wasn't going to give her a hug and three kisses, as per Afghan tradition, instead when she had introduced herself he had simply given her a slight nod/bow. When she mentioned the government and how they sent him here for training he had a look of displeasement. Annoyed that he was cuffed just moments ago and now being asked just why he was here? 

I am involved in the land of a ‘Leonine’ (lion-like) and brave people, where every foot of the ground is like a wall of steel, confronting my soldier. You have brought only one Alexander into the world, but every mother in this land has brought an Alexander in the world.

“Gentlemen!” A voice shouted from the doorway. Agent Elizabeth Ross stepped in, dressed in her black S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform, wearing a grimace she had spent hours perfecting in front of her bathroom mirror. “I use that term very loosely, of course.” She moved forward with quick, decisive steps, yanking the handcuff keys from the man in charge. Beth kneeled and unlocked the cuffs from around Aslan’s ankles and wrists, offering him a sympathetic look. 

He watched the woman speak to the TSA agents and degrade them into nothing. The men that had held him captive, and were harassing him, were belittled in minutes with few words. He was most intrigued by the fact that she spoke his native tongue beautifully, she had an accent and wasn't exactly fluent but it was shocking for him to see an American speaking his tongue. When she released him from the cuffs, he rubbed his wrists as there are dents to where he struggled to break the cuffs free.
