Matches had gotten onto the telepad with Speedy, Green fairy Archer, and that shtoopid kid with the helmet and calls it a hood. He wasn't going to say anything yet, the reason for Batman's decision to go undercover as Matches was to see how the group would act if and when SeRVE members let loose and run amok. Not only that, but as Matches he was finally able to give them the wrinkles they were giving him for years. Maybe SeRVE wasn't all too bad an idea.
Batman doesn't plan on killing anyone, he has enough belief in the group that if he were to run away under their noses, they would be able to catch him. Jason, unlike Matches, is a known killer, so it was to test if SeRVE was truly the best place for to put him. Who knows, maybe Ollie will have things together but he never expected for this circumstance of giant toxin exhaling robots would conveniently happen to test them in the toughest of situations.
Unfortunately, Kyle had been a bit lax in watching Matches when he was first beamed into the Watchtower and didn't notice the device he placed under the control for the telepads; he knew he wouldn't arrive to his destination of Gotham because of which and he was going to test Mia out now that he knew what was about to happen.
As Oliver programmed them to arrive to Gotham, Bruce messed with his arrival just by morse coding his coordinates to the device. As they were being beamed, Matches conveniently happened to tap Speedy and she arrived to the same destination with him. Acting confused he looked at her and spoke to her in his already infamous Joisee accent. "Whad tha hell happen'd?," he looked completely confused but upon the 'realization' of them arriving to Las Vegas the burrowed eyebrows and near frown were replaced with a slightly sinister grin.
"Las Vegas," he laughed, "guess it don' git much bettoi than dis." Being born and raised in Joisee, he just preferred Atlantic City better. You had casinos and beaches while in this desert hellhole you only had fake beach attractions, but it doesn't mean it's not a great place for a thief to roam around.
Within moments he realizes just what the meeting was about when a giant robot made it's way down the road they were on. It was at least four blocks away but damn it was huge, nearly rivaled the hotels in size.
