I'm sharing the cc I made for my UFO Crash Site's souvenir shop!
They're all recolors of Maxis meshes, except for the smaller billboard, which uses @psychosim's Wall Ad mesh (included). You’ll need CEP for all the other recolors to show up.
Everything is packaged separately and clearly labeled.

- Psychosim for the Wall Ad mesh
- Maxis for all other meshes/some photobooth & wall display textures

Happy Christmas eve! Quite a few hairs to finish us off here, however in all this month I still didn't entireley finish off my list of hairs under 2400 poly that I liked. So I've got a nice little backlog of low poly hair that I can retexture at a later date, and now I'm not self confined to under 2400 poly specifically I could maybe add some more to that list from the under 5000 category, which should be fun.
I tried to save some seasonal and fun accessory styles for today! Free 11 is probably the best fit for a christmassey style, the alpha edit isn't my own, it's actually just the alpha that Peggy originally made the greys in for this hair. The bows are a few Aelia colours. Trinity has the distinction of being the *only* 4t2 hair I did this whole month; @antoninko actually did it in the original Afterglow post, but this version is actually a recoloured version of @loosiap's V2 version with added gingham pattern on the scarf (which was not easy to make look decent, as the scarf texture is tinie, but I just didn't care for plain scarves), which sits closer to the head and the texture is blended with Nouk textures. Flora 28 also has hats in Aelia colours. I kind of followed the same logic as Flora with 59, with no pearls on unnaturals, but I made naturals with no pearls, too. Ulker 6 has polkadot headbands- I really wanted to do it as it reminded me so much of Mikako's mum in Neighborhood story! FInally, the tiara on F13 isn't part of the mesh, it's a seperate accessory and the necklace is attached to it. I've included it in the zip so you don't have to go find it yourself.
Additional credits: Peggy, Simcelebrity00, Rose, MYOS, Ulker and XMS Flora for the meshes and original textures, @rascalcurious for the 4t2 conversion, Antoninko for the afterglow textures and actions! check @the-afterglow-archive for more Afterglow ₊˚⊹♡
I've successfully scraped all of the available Custom Content that was linked on GOS from Mediafire, Box, and SimFileShare. (Mirrors on 4shared not included)
Of course, I can't go back in time to retrieve things that are already long gone but here's a .zip of 49 GBs of content. This is everything from the beginning of GOS to September 2023.
This is the entire site's worth of custom content scraped. There are a few things that you need to know.- This is not checked to see if depe
yo! one of my friends asked me how I do this, so I thought I'd put together a little tutorial and share. here's a preview of what a "ufo roof house" might look like once you're done:
this is just a little one I built in Strangetown on a 10Ă—10 lot, read below to learn how to do this yourself.
→ Step 1: Build your foundation (if you want one) + your first floor. The easiest way to do this is to make your walls an octagonal shape with the diagonal walls being half as many as the straight walls. As an example, you can see in the image below my straight walls are 6 units, so the diagonals are 3.
→ Step 2: Go up one level and lay a square of flooring for your roof to sit on, twice the size of your straight walls. My straight walls are 6 units, so my "roof square" will be 12×12.
→ Step 3: Using the small cone roof tool, drag from one corner of your square to the other, minus 1 unit. My square is 12×12, so the cone roof will be 11×11. You can see in the image below where to place your cursor to start:
→ When you're done with the small cone roof tool, it should look like this:
→ Step 4: Delete the excess flooring. You can press F to toggle from a full square unit to a smaller, triangular unit to trim the corners. Unfortunately, you can't click and drag to remove the corners from the diagonal walls, you can only shift click to delete one triangle at a time, but it saves you from having to put down walls or fencing you're just going to remove anyway.
→ Step 5: Decrease your roof's angle. On my normal houses, I usually use a 25 degree angle, which in this case, looks like this:
→ Step 6: You don't want your walls sticking out like this. So, adjust your roof's angle until they're not sticking out. The lowest I could get the roof's angle on this one was 39 degrees, which looks like this:
→ Step 7: Much better! Don't worry about that spiky bit in the middle, because we're going to add a dome roof to cover it up. You can start fiddling around with the dome roof tool by using the same amount of units as your straight walls, or you can go smaller. A 6×6 dome on this house looks like this:
→ I like my UFO domes a little smaller, so I went with 4×4. TIP! If you have an even number of straight walls, your dome will also be even, if it's odd, your dome will also be odd. If you had 7 unit straight walls for example, your dome could be 7×7, 5×5, 3×3, etc. Here's how my 4×4 dome turned out:
→ Step 8: Nice! We're pretty much done! Decorate however you like!
→ Step 9: Enjoy your UFO roof house! All content shown on this one is maxis, except for the deck support posts, which are default replacements available HERE, thanks to @psychosim! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. Feel free to tag me if you make a UFO roof house because of this, I'd love to see it! 👽💖 Happy Simming!

I wasn’t going to post this first batch of backlog cc I’ve made until later in the week, but I just realized my schedule until Sunday is clogged m8! The likelihood of me having the required energy is.. not many units of likelihood. (I could schedule the post but then I’d have to wait for the upload note dopamine hit, and that’s a terrible fate)
Debuting the new dark brown that’s replacing Nesert in my swatch, too. Consider it some kind of late stage beta debut, I haven’t turned it into an action yet and there might be slight tonal variation in the final version. There are probably similar colors around, even if not entirely alike? Any likeness is accidental, I just wanted a special little deep, dark brown to keep Ethelberry’s scalp warm. Also it’ll get some kind of cool name later, for now it’s just newbrown though!
Oh great this is turning into a really long intro. As always, everything has been made with love and care, compressorized, and the renamed meshes are included. OK!
Hi there!! I was wondering where you get all your clutter from? I already have a ton, but you can never have enough pixel clutter... c; Also, I wanna say that I just found your blog and Sycamore Cove is gorgeous. I love it.
Awww, thank you!! I’m so glad you enjoy my blog and my silly little neighborhood. :D *gives you hugs and tea*Â
As for clutter, oh boy. Where to begin? XD These are just some sites/creators off the top of my head:

@rurpleplayssims asked here where to find Strangerville/ Strangetown/ Strangertown CC and since I used a lot of 4t2 Strangerville CC for my hood “Penelope’s Landing” I thought I could create a list of stuff I used. I also have converted some walls but I have to check where I have them in my folders. When I can find them I will upload them.

I accidentally left my Poses folder, with a bunch of poseboxes and OMSP’s, in my game when I tried to load it to play. So…object limit exceeded and CRASH. I think I’m gonna start fresh on objects. I don’t think I -ever- have, since, you know, 2004. I’ve deleted a ton of things over the years, of course. I might change my mind and put my Objects folder back in, but I’ve been considering this for months, so I have to at least try it, right?
I’m addicted to Maxis Add-on repositoried stuff and kept running into object limit, so I decided to go into my Doors and Windows folder and delete all the diagonal meshes. It added up to almost 600 pieces just for the diagonals, those build mode sets really add up
If you want to try going through your stuff I suggest trying the Sims2Cat program from SimWardrobe. You can go folder by folder in your Downloads and it will show you the thumbnail and catalog description of each thing. I used it recently to set up Modern and Apocalypse folders that I can move in and out of my DLs
Oh no, object limit sounds terrifying! I’m gonna be so paranoid now. Do we have any idea how high object limit is? I’ve only recently become aware it even exists.
I don’t know how feasible/helpful this would be for anyone else, but I started splitting my game into different TS2 folders depending on what cc I need for each hood. This is what my Documents/EA Games folder looks like;
I just rename them when I want to switch. This setup also allows me to use different defaults for each game, but it is annoying to have multiple copies of the same files for stuff I use in multiple saves, like skins, eyes, etc.
Genetically Correct Clean Template Strangetown With Scripted Events - CC FREE
I’m back with another genetically correct hood! You can check out my GC version of Pleasantview with scripted events here - I also explain what genetically correct means there as well in case you aren’t sure :)
Today as part of my quest to make all Sims 2 hoods genetically correct, I bring you Strangetown!
More pics, info, and download links below the cut :)
You may need the UseInaccessibleBeds mod to get to some of the beds.
Although every RV has one double bed in the master bedroom, all of the ones with a “second” bedroom use bunk beds.
Only the apartment lot has phones built in, the rest of your Sims might be living off-the-grid in communication ways unless you get them a cell phone or place a phone.
I unashamedly used the crap out of my Appliance Shelf in ALL the kitchens.
You are not going to have a whole lot of room to change/build inside the lot. The RV is laid out in a MOSTLY cromulent way with the ability to find a routing path, but expect that if you’re intending to make over the lots you WILL need to find furniture of a similar shape/size without rearranging too much (ex. you will be able to replace a loveseat with another loveseat, but not with a 3-seat couch, & you probably won’t be able to easily change its position within the house.)
No fire alarms or burglar alarms. Live dangerously.
I don’t know why these would be useful or necessary, but they were cathartic for me to build I guess. I referenced real floorplans of real RVs & all of them have the requisite RV “pop-out” sections built into them. I’ll write more about this at the bottom of the cut if you’re interested in knowing me a bit better, but it’s not required.
They are NOT all intended to face the same direction; if shadows & light-sources are important to you then you should reference an existing lot in your neighborhood to see what direction your lighting is facing & rotate these to match.
I couldn’t go with no-CC for these, so there are some recolors & MM addons. Most of it is included, & what isn’t will just pop back to a default color, HOWEVER, you MAY WANT to get SOME OF my Maxis recolors for several of the houses (under the cut). Not all of these exist in every house & they are roughly in order of most used to least used, I just do not want to redo this list on every download post.
After playing the Mashuga household for a gameplay video, I thought this would be a fun little thing to do. Sims 1′s Sylvia Marie Mashuga remade for Sims 2!
Tried my best to make it accurate, I let her keep some of her boxiness/sharpness just to retain more similarities. And since Sylvia Marie’s head is used by other sims, you can kinda use her as a base for other Sims 1 sims!

Since these two actually use the same head in TS1, and @andrevasims did such a fantastic job making Sylvia Marie, I decided to base my Melissa on her Sylvia. I mostly tweaked the nose, and made her face a bit fuller since Melissa is plus-size. I’d like to give her a few more moles, but I can’t find any I like that actually work on her skin tone, so I’ll probably just make some. I also tweaked Sylvia Marie’s face a tiny bit, mainly the eyes.
Hopefully they look similar, but also different enough? That doesn’t make sense?
