Ghost Paper Doll Giveaway! And poll for next paper doll! 

Ok. I like to make these jointed paper dolls. They’re a lot of fun for me to paint, but they’re kind of a pain in the ass to print and cut out/assemble, which is why I have only ever made one or two of each one (mostly two so my bestie @slytherin13-blog gets one of each because that is how I buy her friendship). However, I know there are a few people here on the tumblrs who have said they like them, too, so I thought I might have a little giveaway. Here’s how it will work:

Help me decide who to paint next. My short list is below. Pick your favorite and either reblog this post with your choice or “like” the post and leave a comment with your choice. January 16th, pacific standard time, at midnight-ish, I’ll put all the names in a hat and choose one (and by hat, I mean one of those name picker generator things they have online). I’ll contact the winner and they will get to pick which doll they want of the ones I’ve already painted: Omega (with guitar), Water Ghuleh (with bass guitar), Fancy Papa III (with cloth costume), or Casual Papa III (with kazoo). You will receive a finished, assembled paper doll. Please give me a week or so to make it for you once the giveaway is over. Also! After I tally up the votes from the poll, I will paint *that* paper doll and have another giveaway. :)

Here’s my short list of paper doll people I would like to make (I will probably end up painting all the ghouls and Papas at some point, but these are the ones I really want to paint right now):

1. Cowbell Ghoul, with cowbell and sneakers

2. Special Ghoul, Infestissumam era, with cat

3. Alpha, Meliora era (to go with Omega, of course), with guitar

4. Earth, Meliora era, with drumsticks stuck in his sash

I make the finished dolls by printing the artwork onto heavy paper, which I glue on to Bristol paper and then cut out and assemble with tiny little brads. Fancy Papa III has pipe cleaner arms.
