It's a real shame companions in Re4 can't talk to the Merchant because I'm pretty sure Luis would be able to flirt his way into a few discounts for us
RESIDENT EVIL 2 REMAKE (2019) / RESIDENT EVIL: REQUIEM (2026)
Has anyone thought of this yet. Don't mind how messy it is I drew it on my phone
Idk I just like finding visual parallels and this one was too depressing to ignore.
Round of applause for Leon's ass in Requiem because wow... wow. That's America's ass.

There was truly no pleasure greater than seeing one of the legends do the hits like Stranger than you Dreamt it
Spoilers under the cut
Do you ever just go about your day until the memory of how Masquerade ends with us taking off our masks and the Phantom looking at all of us in disbelief that someone's finally accepting him hits you like a ton of bricks or is that just me?
TIL that during All I Ask of You, Ryan Vona makes the acting choice to mouth along "You know i do," while Raoul sings to Christine and if I had to feel this pain, so do you
Me when I realize after my third trip to Masquerade that the Phantom literally tries to kill himself after he’s unmasked after the Point of No Return and was genuinely upset after Christine prevents him from doing that by saving his life and he didn’t actually plan to take her down to his lair again it just happened because he was backed into a corner and

I cannot express to you how absolutely divine this performance was. I love the Clay/Riley and Kyle/Eryn pulses the most, and this scramble was devastating. A emotionally volatile and inexperienced Phantom against an unshakable Christine who knows herself so well was so painful to witness in the best way possible. To say nothing of the voices—Hers is the sort of Christine you hear in your sleep and his voice is such a unique baritone that feels almost 1920s crooner??
Hopefully you can't hear me crying too much here.
I hope this audio captures what it was like and hope they mix things up like this again, because this was easily one of the best Phantom combos I've ever seen live, Masquerade or otherwise.
I've removed the beginning violin medley from the reception area because it's inaudible and have timestamped things by nomenclature from the original show and by what I thought was most legible. There is some noise in moments where I'm walking/moving, but otherwise this is pretty decent audio. Please feel to ask me any additional cast questions if you're curious!

The final “Masquerade” performance of Hugh Panaro as the Phantom, with Francesca Mehrotra as Christine and Nicole Ferguson as Madame Giry.
For this unmasking scene, I was standing right behind Hugh/Phantom, fortunately so close as to feel his pain and rage.
