like the thing is i don't really think it's a bad characterization move to write a struggling teacher who's put too much personal stake in the success of one particular student. you could even still have the really embarrassing part where she realizes she's said Way Too Much--just make it be about like, "wow i feel sooo bad for him can you believe how Sad and Tragic this is 😢 but i think if he succeeds it'll Fix Me (and prove im Good At My Job)"

^it's still a major "obviously she should not be saying/thinking this" situation just with less stupid bullshit to wade thru. and also the way that this messy setup also Doesn't End Well in the context of the game is rly tragic. it's too bad we're trapped in atlus world. well no more. this is MY WORLD !!! AND GROWN WOMEN ARE CONSTRUCTING OTHER, MORE DIFFERENTER MIND MAZES TO DIE IN

this is the part she cut out of her story in #3 ofc. what Made her fall back into all her bad habits to begin with. so in a roundabout way it did lead to her first meeting A, and then meeting kawakami.....................
