It's always been a fanciful tumblr tradition of mine to post about a Wes Anderson film I'd have recently seen and boy, was this one totally worth the wait. Again, Wes has never failed to astound me with his eloquent use of cinematography, and The Grand Budapest Hotel definitely makes full use of it. It flourishes in an aesthetic that totally gives off that quirky yet uplifting tone, only to be invigoratingly supported by his awesome set designs. Though this may be his most linear movie to date, that Anderson vibe still never fails to deliver. I'd "check-in' to this movie soon if I were you.
