Just wondering, have you ever drawn Eira (the Bell Beast) before? If so, I want to see your design. If not, please draw Eira (maybe or maybe not with her babies the Beastlings), please. Would love to see Pharloom's fast travel bug in your style :)

Okay so let me yap about my thoughts on this one! I like to think that bugs adapt to their surroundings and evolve to fit in because of that.
The Bell Beasts specifically show this in the golden coloured plating on their backs. It gets lighter the older they get. Meaning the young will resemble the bells that line their territory. They use that to camouflage from threats like the Belleater.
I did give her some scars. She's been through a lot. I'm also wondering if the whole fast travel thing was a "willing" service. The Citadel has a Bellway. But we know the Weavers weren't exactly kind in their rule. So yeah.. maybe some of those scars are older than others-
