Paco the rabbit

This is me and my slave, Chibs. He’s cleaning me , which makes my a happy bun 🐰

look how much my little baby changed. But he will always be small in my eyes though ^_^ The first picture is the one I got from the breeder when I asked if she had any males for sale. He was maybe 3 or 4 weeks and it was love at first sight. The last picture is from this summer (2 years old and 6 , almost 7, kgs). I can’t believe that clump of a rabbit used to be so tiny!

Paco has a very big abcess on his leg and the vet said I have to keep it open for as long as possible and clean it out every day. I’m doing exactly what the vet did and instructed me to do so I didn’t just make this up. It’s a bit gross, but at least there doesn’t seem to be any more pus, which is great. There seemed to be an endless amount of it just a few days ago :S

He might be sick, which sucks, but good thing Paco's such a good boy when it comes to medicines. Else my life would be a lot harder :)

I realized I haven't posted about Paco in a while. But there isn't a lot to say right now. As if he hadn't sufferent enough already, my baby is sick again. A few weeks ago his leg got very inflammed and 10 days of antibiotics didn't help. He then got 10 more days of antibiotics (another kind) and that kind of, sort of helped, but even though he's a lot better, things still aren't good. Now he also got an abcess on his leg that's oozing, but the vet isn't sure wether or not the abcess is what caused the inflammation or if the inflammation caused the abcess. Regardless I have to clean it extensively every day to wash out pus and dead tissue. Things are rough right now and I'm not totally convinced he will ever heal. But he is getting better so I will continue to try. Cross your fingers!

Apparently this is just a thing we do now. Bunny cuddle time has permanently turned into animal cuddle time. Not that I mind, the more the better. I just wish I had something softer to sit on haha

Paco has been a bit jealous of his little sister lately, but now look who's jealous when he gets some attention x)

I'm not sure what this rabbit is up to. since we brought the cat home he's been ALL over the place,tearing stuff down from shelves, obsessed with food, throwing things around and just making a mess. He's never been like this before. i hope he calms down. I think maybe he needs more attention because the only time he's calm is when I pet him, which I do a lot, but I can't sit with him all day every day. Don't know what to dooo

Idk why she does this, but I guess maybe she realizes that this is his territory and he’s her elder so she wants to follow him? Regardless, it’s freaking adorable !

Paco has a new little sister in his life. She's scared of him though, but I hope they'll make friends.

Sometimes you just gotta stop everything and cuddle

So at night, Paco has this habit of falling asleep right in the doorway to the bathroom, and he will lie there no matter what you do so it's faster to just go in, do your thing and then leave without trying to move him. Oh well..I guess peeing alone and with the door closed is overrated anyway.
