“Come on…” Jupiter panted to himself, as he flung open door after door in his frantic search.

With each opened door, Jupiter quickly scanned over each and every room. Until he reached one room where the vent was opened, he almost missed it at first. Remembering how she and Pluto used to roam the Mother Ship’s vents, Jupiter fears he may lose Mercury if he fails to convince her this time. Jupiter will not be able to fit into the vents, and attempting to tear down the walls will… Take more time, allowing Mercury to get further away and could alert any possible enemies nearby to attack them both!

Jupiter, trying to keep his nerves calm, looks into the vent and calls out into the vents. “Mercury! Pluto isn’t here anymore, Asteroid exchanged our Mother Ship’s Warp Engine for him! Please, come back here and return to his side in the Medical Bay. He needs all the support he can get at home right now.”

Jupiter had been resting his hands on the edges of the vent as he yelled into it… There were crack marks in it, as his hands are tightly clutched. A red storm was slowly brewing in the increasingly stressed driver.

Mercury bumped her head on the top of the vent in shock, hearing Jupiter’s voice echo throughout the vents. She slowly turned around and crawled backward, now looking Jupiter face-to-face. One could tell that she was getting both agitated and upset by this point, her brows furrowing. “ You’re just lying to me! “ She snapped, yelling... Her yells echoed throughout the vents, and could probably be heard by anyone inside of the ship, “ You just want me to come back! Because you don’t think I’m STRONG ENOUGH? Is THAT it?! “ She slammed her fists on the vent, a loud THUD echoing through them.

Jupiter froze in place, he thought he heard some footsteps. It was hard to tell over the blaring alarms. Jupiter strained himself to listen as hard as he could…

The sound of a door closing and a few more footsteps. Jupiter started in the direction of the sound. More doors… Jupiter started to open more doors as he came across them.

“Mercury! If you’re here to get Pluto, we already got him back home! We need to get out of here!” Jupiter called out again. He’s aware that each time he yells out, an enemy could hear and rush towards him, but the chance that Mercury could be close and hear was a risk he’s willing to take as he opened door after door, getting closer and closer to Mercury’s position.

Oh no.

Mercury slowly backed away from the door. His footsteps slowly got louder.. And louder.... He was coming.

Mercury eventually hit the wall, causing her to break out of her thoughts. After the bump, she, on instinct, felt the wall behind her. She then looked around her, searching for some sort of exit.

Her eyes eventually rest upon a vent. Perfect. She slowly walked over and crawled inside. She was going to find him. Jupiter could not and would not stop her. She was so focused on finding Pluto that she didn’t hear what Jupiter had said. But she didn’t care.

Jupiter enters the world’s atmosphere, following the signal of Mercury’s craft. It didn’t take him too long to see it parked near what Jupiter thinks is some sort of base ship. Jupiter tenses up, as he lowers and lands his spaceship next to Mercury’s.

Jupiter hops out of his spaceship, very tense from this and the past situation, emotions of worry and anger towards both the man who harmed Pluto, and Mercury’s current actions… Jupiter’s tension was only more solidified when he thinks he hears some sort of alarm? Jupiter went up to the base ship and enters it.

The tension in Jupiter’s gut tightened even more when he realized that the sound he was hearing earlier was actually an alarm from the base ship. Was Mercury caught?! Jupiter clenched his hands and kept himself ready for battle, as he ran down the halls looking for Mercury. If she was in trouble, Jupiter will do anything to make sure she is safe.

“Mercury?! Mercury!” Jupiter called out, checking room after room, his muscles almost instinctively ready to punch anything that isn’t Mercury sized upon each door opening.

Upon hearing the sound of loud footsteps, Mercury was afraid and... confused. But as soon as she heard his calls for her, she jumped. Uh oh.

She then ran to the nearest room, closing the door. She can’t be taken back again! Not this time.

This time wasn’t her just being stupid and naive.

Mercury had arrived at the kidnapper’s ship, and simply parked her mini-ship next to the other’s ship. She got out of it and hopped onto the ship.

Ouch. Her ears.. Was that... An alarm???

Mercury covered her ears and winced, her eyes shut tight. “Okay... I.. I can’t do this for much longer,” She uttered to herself, remembering the task at hand, “The fiend is probably escaping right now! He’s not leaving with Pluto with me here!”

So she ran. She ran as fast as she could. Which is pretty fast. She ran to any doors she could find, but nobody could be seen. Not even Pluto, at the very least... She became concerned. VERY concerned. “Oh no... P-please... Please no!”

Mercury kept repeating the word “No...” over and over, like a broken record. She can’t find anybody.

....

"Huh." She said, looking at the new message. It seemed somebody had already read it. But curiosity BEGGED her to look at it. So she did. After all, she didn't care about consequences. Lunar was gone away.

As she read it, she started shaking more and more. From anger. Each word she read made her more and more PISSED. So she made a decision.

Mercury was quick to grab a piece of paper, and write up something, her hand shook as she wrote, but she paid no mind. She left the note on the counter and put items from her room into her bag. She then grabbed a small ship and took off.

The small bomber had zoomed so fast, one could mistake her for an meteor, or even a shooting star! She hit the ground, blowing grass and dirt away upon contact. She layed there for a few seconds before slowly getting up, and wiping dirt off of her dress. Gosh, she certantly had been far away from the ship.. She can’t recognize a single thing around her.
