My installation piece, "Pages of a Blueboy Magazine" included in the traveling exhibition "Art AIDS America" now on view at the Tacoma Art Museum.
Every year Light Work invites between twelve and fifteen artists to come to Syracuse to devote one month to creative projects. Over 400 artists have participated in Light Work’s Artist-in-Residence Program, and many of them have gone on to achieve international acclaim.
The residency includes a $5,000 stipend, a furnished artist apartment, 24-hour access to our state-of-the-art facilities, and generous staff support. Work by each Artist-in-Residence is published in a special edition of Contact Sheet: The Light Work Annual along with an essay commissioned by Light Work. Work by former Artists-in-Residence is also part of the Light Work Collection.

I see you have a picture of Belmont Rocks Chicago posted.I was there on that beach where I met the Blueboy model that went by the name Claus in 1979.He worked at Carols Speakeasy on Wells Street.He gave me advice and I listened.I never got to thank him and I moved away and never seen him again.
Wow, that's amazing! I spent a year compiling portraits of blueboy models... I actually remember finding pictures of a mode named Claus. I included his face in my piece, "pages of a blueboy magazine." 100 faces I compiled in honor of the lost generation of gay men who died of AIDS. Thanks for sharing your story!
