The Rowe Review

Our traditional tassel loafer in natural cordovan. Featuring a Rendenbach Jr leather sole in a refined Goodyear welt-construction and calf lining. This shoe, like all the other Carmina´s, is carefully manufactured by expert craftsmen who follow the exact same techniques that Charles Goodyear created in 1869. Style made on Forest last, one of the house´s oldest lasts. Rounded at the tip, smooth fitting with normal instep and generous space at the front.

For this style we choose the Forest last. Forest is Carmina’s most archetypal and early last. With its classic and timeless design, this last seems to resist the course of time. Proof of this is the fact that, 15 years after it was released, it is still one of the most popular lasts. Rounded toe, regular instep and more room across the forepart.

The fine ribs in the fabric & diagonal stripes are what does it for me honestly. Oxford Rowe | @oxfordrowe is a perfect example of this.
