Ow2 closing is when people realize how much of a slog it is coming back to ow1. The first day of the second event was horrible. Not even because “ow1 is worse” but more or less because I felt like players I came across forgot what’s possible in ow1 now.
2’s whole “deathmatchy” feel has definitely made coming back jarring.

Okay so I’m absolutely screaming.
After playing Widow all day I decided to play Ashe. I’d like to think I’m a pretty good Ashe player. But after playing Widow all day I sorta popped off.
AND SOMEONE ACCUSED ME OF AIMBOTTING LMAO
I’ve never been more confused in my life.
My sensitivity is sorta high when scoped for her (around 35-50) so I’m guessing thats why they thought I was botting? Other than getting a few headshots on them.
Oh also they were pharah. So I guess they just kinda had it coming? They may have reported me, which would be the third time today ig but I doubt anything will happen. Hopefully :’)

When people avoid your line of site so you can’t heal them and then complain and call you a bad healer because you're not risking your own life and the team’s life to save one overextending dps over the rest of the team ✌️

Now that Echo’s out. I’ve noticed Echo players right now like to fly and run away whenever you’re trying to heal them.
I’ve had a couple fly away from me, out of my reach as a moira, and spam that they need healing.
Mercy has a hard time getting to people if they’re running away, because she’s slow, especially around corners. I just had one last round avoid me while on critical health asking for healing.
Like I’m trying just stop avoiding me. It’s not fun wasting your time as a mercy chasing down an echo that keeps turning corners before you can Guardian Angel when you could be healing other people that need it.
When you get reported for “throwing a game” because you can’t/won’t make it to someone before they die. All because they yeeted themself straight into battle with no backup. This is usually coupled with swear words and slurs.
Like, I’m sorry, bro. But if I went after you I’d probs die, too. And if I tried to res you, it’d waste my res because it would 1) not work because I moved too far away to get to safety, 2) I would die and waste res completely, or 3) you would die and still waste my res completeley.
When you’re a mercy and the only healer on the team.
When you’re trying to heal half the team that are squishies and a tank out here (so far always a D.va for me) with over half her health still spams chat that they need healing and is just... standing there. Like I’m trying my best?? If you want healing so bad and I can’t get to you then just... go get a health pack?
Also you’re a D.va. Ya got a second health honey. If you’re that worried there’s usually a full healthpack near choke.

Be a healer that can self heal.
High level players really out here trying to find things to be an asshole about, huh?
When someone’s bad at a character in MYSTERY HEROES, instead of telling them to die or give up on the game, maybe consider they’ve never played them and just wanna practice. This is the same in literally every other gamemode.

When you Rein and you zip off the edge and not bring anyone with you.
I love moira but I hate playing her as a Mercy. Mostly because of her fade.
Our Moira and I were the only ones left on point, everyone else died or fled. We were being rushed and the moira faded away while I was healing her. I was disconnected because she faded. And not only did she fade away from me, she faded AROUND a corner where I couldnt get to her.
So I died DHAOSNSLSNS
This happened like 3 times that match.
Its not the moira’s fault at all. She was just fleeing from danger (instead of popping a healing orb). I just hate her fade with a vengeance.
Related to this. I was healing a Moira once (as a Mercy again) and she faded away, disconnecting me and dying because she didn’t pop a healing orb when she got there.
I think she went into an area that had a healthpack but it was either taken or someone was there. (Of course someone would be there becuase it was closer to the enemy spawn)

When you get Mercy’s super jump just right
Although, a pet peeve of mine while playing mercy is when you’re zipping towards someone and they end up jumping/being thrown off the edge of the map, thus dragging you with them.
Or you zip to someone and someone else (usually a dva for me) gets in the way and it throws you backwards or stops you entirely. This always ends in me dying as well.
