-anyone old enough to remember teen titans trouble in tokyo?

just watched the miraculous tokyo special and idk why im bothered when a cartoon does an "anime" style but is slightly off, they also use old played out gags/ tropes that anime doesnt even use anymore so it makes me wonder who exactly those jokes are for.

-also im slightly bothered by Marinette being frightened by gyaru makeup (twice )

ive actually been watching anime and reading manga of multiple genres since i was 13 and i can say for sure some gags like the anime sweat drop, the anger vein, the comedic falling down (like from pokemon, sailor moon, ranma) these things are rarely in modern anime anymore.

and im not bothered by Marinette being suprised once by the makeup but rather after kagami explains thats just a person they do the joke again.
