Piss Off

This is literally the only place I can afford to rent and I love my neighbourhood and community. BC housing can’t help cause even if I could get a place (they have a 10 year waitlist) I really have no interest in living in a 1bdrm SRO unit where I can’t have my pets and the building is infested with cockroaches or bedbugs or both.

I’ll never be able to afford anything here and it’s really stressful. I hate apartments and condos bc I get so overstimulated by the noise plus I can’t trust other people not to start a fire; I worry enough with 1 upstairs neighbor.

First the union doesn’t know who my rep is and no one seems to be able to figure out how to find out so I got sent in a phone tag loop which was very annoying.

Then my doctor gave me a script for Metformin XR which the pharmacy called to tell me there is no coverage for it so it’s $90 for a 3 months supply so I said no thanks.

Then I called the vet to order dog food for the dogs and the price went up again so now the big bag (it does last a few months luckily but still) is $277

I really feel like despite my clawing efforts, I’m descending even more rapidly into poverty.

And my sister just got hit with a $6000 dental bill that I can’t help with and her baby daddy is being shitty about paying child support so she’s going to have to pay more to take him to court.

And my dad and family are also all pressuring me.

And my dad is being moved to the hospital I work at so I’m going to have to sternly tell him to not be rude or mean to any of my coworkers.

And I feel like I can’t be at my other job as much as I should be bc I need recovery time.

And it feels like I’m being pulled in all directions by so many hands but I can’t do it all or even any of it. I need to rest and recover for at least a week with no human contact but instead I have the busiest August ever and no one will just give me a break.
