So now that you know he’s a real thing where do you stand on the poll question? 

Okay I’ll admit one of the reasons I held out on watching the show for so long was because I knew–I KNEEEEEEWWW this reblog would come back to haunt me if I ever broke and checked it out. 

But that being said I don’t think this is the same Gummigoo as the one that got deleted. It’s a copy of that Gummigoo off of a base asset, that probably got tweaked so that it unconsciously recognizes that getting overly involved with Pomni or any of the humans/player characters is an existential threat. I think Gummigoo as a character was designed to be a compelling antagonist, hence having a whole sympathetic backstory with a sick mother as motivation, and also having enough intelligence to actively question his reality when confronted with the borders of it. I think Caine actually does put a lot of work into the adventures and into basically creating rabbit holes within the adventures so that in theory the Circus members could spend a lot of time in them. There was probably some variant path of the Candy adventure that could have ended with redemption for Gummigoo and his gang and peace in the Candy Kingdom, except all of the Circus members are so deeply fucked up from being trapped in Computer Hell that there’s no way they’re going to actually proceed through the adventures like a normal game.

Opened a bunch of MtG cards in said basement trying to get his cards. Ate two cards as she was losing sanity not getting his card.

And now she has done it. She has gotten René Zagger to voice a character in Warframe.
