         “tradition’s important. it keeps important ideas in people’s heads.”          the statement is probably one of the more serious ones she’s made in a while. her dalish roots tug at her sometimes, make her miss her clan and the sound of the woods at night and the family and traditions she’d been raised with. not that the inquisition is bad, really, it’s just different. the responsibility of it all is so much more than a quick order to check the camp’s perimeter or take watch during the sunlight hours.          “they’re all tricky, dragons and things like them, aren’t they? so...burn-y.” her own brows quirk at herself, a sheepish sort of smile crossing her lips as hands come to rest on her hips. “well, i may have wandered off into some caves one time when i wasn’t meant to be going into those specific caves. may have. the bugger was right there, though, not very deep in.”

         “usually not. but that made perfect sense.”

         “i...don’t see how those two connect at all. she was killed so why would killing someone make her come back? makes no sense at all.” not that much of the religion made sense to nanni, but still. this can’t be right.

         “you’re telling me you just made up the king darkspawn who rules them all? i don’t know if i’m impressed or offended.”

         highly suspicious. bright eyes squint at the woman in both suspicion and mild concern. what if they do sacrifice people? “for some reason i have trouble believing you.”

         “is that an andrastian thing?”

         “you can get the teeth, i’ll check his pockets.”

         “do you want to go punch some spirits together, then? it’s pretty entertaining.”

         “i take no responsibility for crazy humans who think just because my hand glows i’m some sort of god!”
