It has been SO long since I've posted, but here's the current design for Val's traveling outfit, which is also what they were wearing in the original picture .

I've been doing a lot of worldbuilding, so their design looks more solid, and I have a much better idea of Xir story and relationships.

Hopefully I will post Ophir's current design too, at the same moment in time that Val looks like this, she has short hair! And they end up with long hair eventually, so it was kind of a switch :)

So, for anyone who hasn't heard of the recent controversy, here's a link.

With that out of the way:

I've asked around a bit and it seems like a lot of writers are still going to write during November, but not use the official site or do anything associated with the company. Which I think is what I'm going to do! NaNo 2023 was one of the best experiences I've ever had and I'm not letting a dumb company take that away from me.

So, I was wondering if any other writers my age (teen) who are participating would want to make a discord server or something like that? We'd probably just talk about the things we're writing, but we might also get off topic too. I just feel a little bit alone in this without a community, and I thought it would be cool to make a writing group!

I also wanna mention that, in honor of completely ditching the original company and site, there's no pressure to go for a particular word count or write in novel format. I'm making a visual novel, and I don't know what my word count goal will be yet but it's probably going to be under 50,000.
