Hello !
We're awkward. * finger guns * Welcome to our blog, thanks for stopping by. This blog is mobile optimized. We have no idea what it looks like on a web browser and dread to ever find out, so for now we live in the blissful ignorance of not knowing how to make an aesthetic tumblr blog in the year 2022.
Though we don't want to disclose our full mental health history here, chances are our autism and ADHD will influence the way we interact with people.
No matter how old any of us is individually, bodily we are in our early 20's. This means we would prefer for everyone who DM's us or wants to get in touch to be 18+! Minors can still interact with everything we post (unless otherwise specified, but we'll give a heads up!) and ask questions about mental health, creative art projects or ask for resources in any of the topics on this blog, we always love to help, but we'd just prefer for that to be the end of the line. Sorry, nothing personal! We just feel uncomfortable otherwise... Neither are we good mentors, nor "cooler older siblings" and absolutely under no circumstances anything more than that, we're just some strangers online who post some things every now and then, please respect our boundaries, thank you!
We have aphantasia. This means that our brain, due to almost completely lacking what people call "a minds eye", has a hard time Frankensteining things together, often resulting in alters that are more similar to already existing characters than we feel safe with online. However, they are still like all other all other alters.
We will not be participating in "syscourse" or any kinds of other drama. Not to sound like an old party pooper, but that costs way too much energy that we probably don't have and we'd much rather spend out time doing something useful and fun. Plus it's not exactly good for our physical health. So... Let's all just exist, yeah?
What kind of system are you guys? ー × Err, nowadays we probably share more similarities with what people used to call an OSDD1-b than a DID system, I'd say? Probably depends on their level of communication and if the amnesiac barriers have lifted a good bit, which means we personally have little to no amnesia between alters and switches despite having had blackouts in the past, and rough times also worsen the symptoms and healing is never linear, so at this point it's anyone's guess specification wise. But I hope this gives you an idea of what to expect. We really don't like the "origin terminology" that is going around here, but I guess that makes us "traumagemic". Grey-outs and "emotional amnesia" mostly. Living from snapshot memory to snapshot memory.
Do you have a host? ー × Not currently, no.
How many are you? ー × That depends on what people count as "real alters".
But are you diagnosed!?!?!?!?!????? ー × Yesn't? "Validated" if anything. Professionally recognized by mouth and one little "hey new therapist this person has DID" paper. We currently don't have the money for it, plain and simple. Though we are good 8 years into our system, well, "re-discovery" looking at our childhood, there was no way to really get one beforehand.
But will we get one in future? Maybe... They're really expensive, currently we need that money to stay alive. And then maybe realize a long-term dream to not fall into despair.
Everyone who wastes their precious time going out to bash others argues "it's like sO SiMpLe to get and if you really had it why don't you have the diagnosis yet, you faker?", but people tend to forget this is a highly stigmatized disorder that we're dealing with here. You don't want DID. Shoo. Bugger off with that. And we're trans. We wouldn't have gotten our testosterone if we openly talked about it any sooner than 17 . Plus, luckily you don't need a whole proof paper for specialized therapy. We have however been thoroughly screened before our ASD and ADHD testing, so we have paperwork that guarantees that we don't have any psychotic tendencies or personality disorders and (good to know, so they can't blame our DID on that) and have been professionally recognized by the two people we went to so far. And other therapists, but they're not the pros. So make of that what you will, that's all we got. 🤷♂️
