Hey Yale 2017, we can’t wait to meet you when you descend on campus this week! As we count down the days, we thought we’d give you a peek into your new homes for the next four years. Enjoy!

Branford College Facts:

1) The largest residential suite in Branford is an octet, commonly known as The God Quad. This highly sought-after suite comes with a small stipend from the Master with which the octet’s residents throw social events for the college.

2) The Coat of Arms of Branford College features ten books to represent the ten ministers who pooled their books and resources to found the Collegiate School.

Yalies traveled all around the world this summer—from Japan and Rwanda to Italy and Brazil—performing with a cappella groups, conducting research and participating in service projects.

The Spizzwinks(?) traveled to Thailand where tenor Nathaniel Dolquist took this picture of the Grand Palace.

So… There’s this Target commercial that shows the reactions of kids getting accepted to college.
