i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out...! there is a view of the boys from the front, to make it double sided but this was my original โฆ.*๏ฝฅvision๏ฝฅ*.โฆ and i think it looks best this way tbh!!

Alongside doing the formatting for the physical & digital zine and creating a couple more assets, this was the page I did for "The Show Must Go On! An Oumota Canon Divergence Zine". My full piece from The Show Must Go On, @oumotazine2 ! (Leftovers open May 22 through June 21!)
The concept is that in chapter 4, instead of setting up the virtual world as a way to get rid of Kokichi, Miu instead decides to actually commit to the plan to live in VR! ......by trapping everyone inside and ruling over the world as god-queen. By luck (Kaito) and suspicion of Miu's intentions (Kokichi), the Oumota boys end up the only ones not captured and have to fight their way through Miu's evil boss tower to rescue everyone.

I had lots of fun putting in little video game references throughout, but pouty Tamagotchi Tsumugi is probably my fave! (I imagine she's geeking out over the double reference of SDR2 AI Junko and SAO-like "trapped in a VR game" stories but also pissed off that she's totally lost control of the scenario.) Painting the internal parts of the actual supercomputer was kind of annoying, but I love how that BG turned out as a whole!
