hi I noticed that you were creating art for every episode, what about the in-between episodes? the ones that does have a number, like coda, prelude, intermezzo, da capo and dc al coda, are you also making art for them?
Yes, I would like to illustrate those in the future. Right now, I'm mainly focusing on the core episodes.
I have a different vision for those as well. They will remain and match the series' style, but the subject in the illustrations will change. It's difficult to explain without just showing what I have cooked up, but, yeah, they will be posted eventually lol

So I'm going to start an ambitious project. I'm aiming to create an art piece for each episode of Malevolent a lot like the one I've made previously. With its final season approaching fast, I want to show how much it has inspired me. Hopefully this is doable. If I'm right, the show's final episode should air December this year or sometime this time next year. I've never been one for personal projects, as I never finish anything this big but I want to try. Dear future me, did we finish this?
Hey me from the past,
You were right, saying it was ambitious. We finished 23/60, and that's alright. That's a good chunk of the series, if you ask me.
At some point, I noticed I was grinding some of the illustrations out just to meet the deadline. I felt like I would let people down for not completing the set by episode 60. I started this project out of love for the show, how inspiring it was (and still is), and using that as fuel to not only show that appreciation but also help me develop my skills (and holy shit have they ever). I'll admit that I was, and still am a bit, disappointed in myself for not making it all the way to the end.
That doesn't mean it's over, though. I'm continuing my walk to the finish line, enjoying my time. I guess I'll wait to see whenever I reblog this next!
