Seasons of Love - Rent Music Video - Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes Five hundred twenty-five thousand Moments so dear Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes How do you measure, measure a year? In daylights, in sunsets In midnights, in cups of coffee In inches, in miles, in laughter, in strife In five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes How do you measure, a year in the life? How about love? How about love? How about love? Measure in love Seasons of love Seasons of love Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes Five hundred twenty-five thousand journeys to plan Five hundred twenty-five thousand Six hundred minutes How do you measure the life Of a woman or a man? In truths that she learned Or in times that he cried In bridges he burned Or the way that she died. Itâs time now, to sing out Though the story never ends Letâs celebrate Remember a year in the life of friends. Remember the love (Oh, you got to, you got to remember the love) Remember the love (You know that life is a gift from up above) Remember the love (Share love, give love, spread love) Measure in love (Measure, measure your life in love) Seasons of love Seasons of love (Measure your life, measure you life in love)
Some years after Wildeâs death, his younger son Vyvyan received a letter from a Frenchman who, as a child, had known Wilde when he was in exile in France, following his release from prison and shortly before his death. In his book Time Remembered, Vyvyan published the contents of the letter:
One Autumn evening, while putting on my overcoat after finishing my meal, I clumsily upset something, perhaps a salt-cellar, on Monsieur Sebastianâs table. He said nothing, but my mother scolded me and told me to apologize, which I did, distressed by my clumsiness. But Monsieur Sebastian turned to my mother and said: âBe patient with your little boy. One must always be patient with them. If, one day, you should find yourself separated from himâŚâ I did not give him time to finish his sentence, but asked him: âHave you got a little boy?â âIâve got twoâ, he said. âWhy donât you bring them here with you?â My mother interrupted ⌠âIt doesnât matter; it doesnât matter at all,â he said with a sad smile. âThey donât come here with me because they are too far awayâŚâ Then he took my hand, drew me to him and kissed me on both cheeks. I bade him farewell, and then I saw that he was crying. And we left.
While kissing me he had said a few words which I didnât understand. But on the following day we arrived before him and a bank employee who used to sit at a table on the other side of us asked us: âDid you understand what Monsieur Sebastian said last evening?â âNo,â we replied. âHe said, in English: âOh, my poor dear boys!ââ
Happy First Day of Spring!
"I try to always be positive." "When did you find it most difficult to be positive?" "My forties." "What happened then?" "Struggles in the family⌠people close to me started dying." "And so howâd you regain your positivity?" "I had a faith. And I returned to it."
