Note: this is not properly formatted at all and is js kind of all over the place but bear with me

Rich understands what can happen to someone who openly rebels against the company. Disappearances, demotions, getting fired, etc. He's most likely seen it happen to other people, and it did happen to him at one point (seen as he gets demoted in chapter 2)

Now that he's in a position of power, now that he can do something, he's actively trying to make sure no one else does anything that the company will notice.

When he talks to Kid, he mentions at one point that Kid should go talk to him if he's having any issues, he's telling Kid to not act out.

He does care about his employees, and he wants to make sure they're okay, even if it means silencing them (for their own good)

Okay now more of headcanons:

you know this moment? people have speculated that Rich covered out Kid's outburst. I also kinda interpreted this moment as Rich knowing he's gonna do this (technically he doesn't have to so he just does this because he cares)

I have a feeling that this implies Rich has talked to Kid before, Kid feels bad about "causing trouble" to Rich because he treats everyone so well (also evident in chapter 5 where Leith mentions they can't kill Rich because he's too well liked by the employees)

Rich doesn't really seem to mind being "troubled" by Kid, all he cares about is that Kid learns from their mistake.

Personally, it's my favorite tape out of all the tapes. It's the most lighthearted one imo, it really shows Rich's development as a character, and it's overall really sweet despite the implications of what's been happening in the factory (for some reason I see myself in Kid so uhh)

Also, it's kind of weird to me that they kept Kid's name ambiguous. They gave Avery a name even though it never gets mentioned in his tape with Rich (it does elsewhere though so...). A lot of people use this as evidence for Player Kid (aka that Kid is the Player) but I personally think that it would be kinda funny if Kid was just...nameless.

Or if Kid's name was literally Kid, that would probably be really awkward for them when/if they were an adult, but that's probably stretching a little far.

Speaking of Kid, their dynamic with Rod seems interesting.

Now, since we only have Kid's words to analyze what kind of character Rod is, we're going to have to go off a lot of speculation here.

From what we know of Rod, we can infer that he could have been a bit of a bully, also seeing that he had "guys" with him, he might have been popular to an extent? (idk where I'm going with this) generally, he most likely joked around about the disappearances, something Kid wasn't really fond of.

Now, it's just easy to say that Rod was just some jerk to Kid and nothing else, but Kid says this:

Somewhere else, anywhere else, they COULD have been friends, but they aren't, why?

Because they were massively fucked over by PlayTime.

This kind of expands on how PlayTime affects people, the company just kind puts them on edge. If Rod had never joked about Kid disappearing they might have been friends, but nooo, the only reason Rod even did is because of PlayTime. (Kid and Rich were really speaking facts when they said the company puts everyone on edge)

Now, this is only from Kid's perspective, we don't know much about Rod's opinion on Kid, but they did probably know each other prior to when Kid yelled at him. (I'm also really interested on what was exactly said during that, I know we'll never get it but please mob-)

Dee is not the best company for The Dark Lord.

Alright, so jumping a little bit, possessed (aka Darkish Lord) Dee has a surprising amount of control over herself while stuck with The Dark Curse. Her origins and likes influence her design. But while she has SOME control over herself, The Dark Curse has control at any other point. They kinda switch back and forth. One minute, Dee is being benevolent and reasonable, the next she's ripping people's faces off and attacking everyone who stands in her way. Like she's still possessed, ya know? She's aware of everything going on, but she can't quite break out of the evilness of the actual curse. The both share the same thoughts.

But anyways, as such, she chooses to use sports against Mia, The Great Sage, and the Ex-Dark Lord (or Stan) as a way to fight them. Still got that Wuhu Island in her. The fun thing about this is, as stated in an earlier post, Dee is not at all good at sports. So it's not that bad.

I think Dee would even give herself a little normal-ish Mii form to make the sport easier to play. I really can't imagine the massive hands help that much.
