Sometimes it doesn't make sense. why the fuck would people put kids' minds in TOYS when they could just. put adults in them or animals or literally anything but 7 year olds who barely have object permanence. And then the scientists get surprised when they are aggressive and hard to control. like YEAH little timmy whos 10 years old and misses his mom probably won't listen to whatever the people who stab him daily say. It also brings into question how do the kids AGE? Cause how old is everyone now? Do they mentally age differently than each other? Do they stay the age they die? Because characters like Doey and Poppy are fully functioning people who don't act like children- but some toys sound/act like kids so I guess it just depends???

You can't even make the argument "well fnaf did it" William Afton didn't build his whole company through killing kids and putting them into animatronics that was his side gig. He was doing that for the love of the game(at least in the beginning).

Making things "DARK" by having children be the victim is just a trope that im tired of, especially when it doesn't make sense. "omg little john got turned into a lion thats so sad" ok but why tho. I feel like it would be more understandable if the Toys were something else. Making the Toys either adults or animal-like creatures would have been better imo. Imagine prisoners being sent over to Playtime co. as a deal for "manual labor" but they never come back. It would be way easier to cover up how nobody cares that hundreds of people are going missing at this factory. Same with making all the toys have the intelligence of animals, maybe similar to parrots so they can mimic voices.

The only characters that would still be humans/kids would be former works, Poppy, and the Prototype. It just. Annoys me how characters like Kissy and Doey are able to function when they have the minds of children(though i guess they age over time which again is another thing thats kinda confusing) but they also dont so.

I get suspending my belief for horror media but at this point huggy wuggy could be the son of Satan and id believe that more than whatever is going on now. what do you MEAN they built and entire orphanage underground, THEN a prison more underground, THEN a bunch of laboratories ranging from biology, physics, and engineering in order to make TOYS. its not that deep everything just seems like a waste of money there is no way the "company" had enough money to make normal toys or even keep running for a YEAR.
