Hey, I feel more wolf but also part cat. How can I know for sure what type of otherkin I am?

Could also be something in-between? A bit of both. There’s a lot of dog races that have the traits of cats, or the other way around.

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to make a small update. After a long time considering things, I have now figured that I’m not actually otherkin. I’ll continue to run this blog to the best of my ability, but I just wanted to let you all know.

Um... Are you still willing to do the whole art thing, even if someone's kin is ridiculously colourful, and has spines, etc? Also, I'm not really sure how the whole art submission thing works... Could you explain that clearer, please?

It’s currently closed. So I don’t take any submissions at the moment.

However, when I am open I don’t care how colorful or anything your kin may be. What I want you to do when you send in a submission, is that you explain, in detail, what your kin looks like. You go to my submission; start writing what you know example; “the head is small, but long, with the snout shaped in the form of a beak. The eyes are average size and the eyecolor is green. The horns are that of ram like this. etc. etc. etc.”

I do want to mention again that I will NOT draw original characters. What I do is a kind of “charity” where I’ll help people who’s otherkin so they have a picture of what they look like. OC is something else.

I’m sorry if I seem a bit annoyed today, nothing against you! I hope this at least cleared up a few of your questions c:

I think I'm homestuckkin, but the problem is, I've hardly read the webcomic, and I don't have time to, so it's making it very hard to find out who I am. I'm sure I'm Karkat, or a non-canon troll though, I feel my horns almost 24/7.

Try to read the comic. If anything just a few pages/minutes a day, you don’t have to finish everything or go through everything right away. I can’t tell you who you are, and I don’t know much about Homestuck, but I think the best way to find out is to read the comic :)

Do I understand correctly that you do free portraits of dragonkin? I'll not ask for one now, as I saw that you're quite busy. I simply wish to applaud the use of your (impressive) artistic talent to benefit your community. I try to do similarly with my magical knowledge.

I do try to do them at least. But school have taken up far too much of my time, and I can only really focus on commissions, and even then I’m a bit behind. I want to help people so they can get a “picture” of themselves, which can be hard to come by in this community.

I want to help, despite things going slow, and in a way I even feel guilty for kind of abandoning this blog in a way.

For the wolfkin who keeps sitting on their tail, what I usually do (I'm cat kin) is ill either wrap my tail around my leg or I'll tuck it into my pant leg. If I'm wearing a dress or skirt I wrap it around my waist. Also activities to help train your tail! Try constantly feeling it whenever you can. Move it. Stretch it. Same can be done with wings!

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me figure out my kintype? I have a couple possibilities but I'm not entirely sure. I've never felt entirely human (I know my physical body is human. I'm not totally uneducated. Just new) almost to the point of species dysphoria (I'm sorry if that's not real. I read it somewhere, and term sounded right.) I feel a very strong connection with nature, but also with water (rain, oceans, etc) I'd say more but 500 character limit on asks. :( help?

I would love to help you figure out your kintype and be there for you. But the truth just is; only you know what your kin is, and no one can tell you what you is. I’m sorry about the dysphoria, and I hope you’re feeling better by the time I get around to answer this.

Try to take a look around the internet or some other otherkin blogs that revolve around nature; maybe you can find your kin, or feel the connection with the thing you are.

hey, i need your help. I feel like i have wings sometimes. Like…i can feel them attached to my body (kinda? its more like “i remember how they used to feel”) and i feel like i know how to use them (like how to flap them and shit) but when i check to see if they’re there they aren’t and its weird

I hate to be that guy, but keep in mind we’re living in a human world, and your body isn’t the one it used to be. I would suggest you focus on what it feels like and not what it looks like.

hey there! I was hoping you could help me with something. I have several kintypes that are generally quiet and peaceful, but lately I'm starting to think I might be fictionkin with a character who is very loud and energetic. the difference in temperaments is kind of stressing me out and I don't know how to deal with it. any suggestions?

Hmm, I can understand why that could be a problem. Now personally I don’t have any experience with more than one kintype. Especially not with fictionkins. Though I would suggest, you could do some mediating try and get in touch with this new kin of yours and see if you can give it the attention it needs. I would guess quiet and peaceful kins wouldn’t mind that the attention is drawn from them from time to time.

If any of my followers who’s more experienced with this could give any better advice, you’re welcome to do so!

excuse me, do you know anything about synpaths?? is it the same as just relating to a character but not being kin w/ them?? i dont want to get it mixed up or anything

Being synpath with something means you have a lot of common, and yes, relate to it. The term synpath always describes the subject that a person identifies with, but never describes the person.
