-- Found out that there will be a Hey Arnold movie this year?? Twin Peaks is airing already??? WHat’s going on what did we do to deserve such wonderful gifts 

-- Spent a lazy day in Saizeriya with some frands that turned out to be Iconique. Two of us ordered two desserts each because that’s our Rights and the waiter, this cheeky secondary school-looking kid, just literally shouted “HAH?! Five desserts?!” And he just kept repeating our orders like he literally couldn’t believe it. It was mortifying but also amazing. Judgy waiters in sg’s resident despair-filled diner -- I’m going to miss this. Other frand gave us his steam account so I can finally play Portal, bless his soul...

-- Yesterday, went for a meetup with the other incoming Nagasaki JETs and alumni (dang everyone is a mature and Functioning adult... I’ve gotta step up my game), then rushed to the airport to send off a frand who’s going to do an internship in Poland (so proud of her), and promptly got stranded in freakin Tanah Merah when the train service ended. Had to take a taxi home which was Not Cheap but the nice taxi uncle gave me a discount

-- “In winter, there is seldom a day where snow covers the ground. Hence, if snow does fall on the ground, school children grow very happy building snowmen.” (This was so cute, but also, there will in fact be snow as an actual possibility??! YAS)

-- “Regarding your rent, it is 7,200 yen per month.” (GOD BLESS)
