Ladybird Wütend

This one was a doozy in how easy this came to be XD

Tried something new drawing the scales. While still rough it's certainly a proof of concept.

Just trust the process

Every time I post I get a ton of those and it's slowly grating on my nerves… It's weird, the accounts who post those comments are active and reblogging stuff, so I'm not sure if the real owners actually know they've been hacked or if this is just used as means to appear more "normal". I still report them every time, but I wonder if there's something else that can be done about those

The head looks more dragon-like than I intended XD

I decided not to go with the full sunbittern wing pattern, keeping it for another pokemon ;P

I like this one so far <3

On a side note, I remember this tweet where someone asked how to write stories longer than 2,000 words. For me it's more a question of how to write a compelling story in less than 20,000 words for me XD

I took an image of a sunbittern for reference for the pose, I might even replicate the wing pattern of the bird on this one, although I'm still not entirely sure if I'll do it eventually

Getting the colour of the wings right was a bit challenging but the end result was worth the hassle <3

Tried to give the figure more depth and I think I managed quite well <3

Wanted to go do a bit of a more forward, aggressive pose with this one

At one point I even debated to redo the whispers and make them look more realistic but ultimatily decided against it as it would've made it look less like Raticate

Luckily I finished this one earlier this week, since I got knocked out by a major migraine yesterday -.- I still feel a little squishy in the head…

This one is something of a love-hate thing. On one hand I like the sleazy look I managed to put on Raticate, on the other hand, I just look at it and see the proof I can't really draw rodents XD

Oh boy, did I struggle with the colours to this orz At a few points I even t a nearly finished version and started partial over but the end result was wort the struggle. I also already have an idea in mind for waning moon, introducing little bit of an additional theme into the series

This turned out way better then I thought it would <3
