As stubborn as she was, she knew when she was fighting a losing battle. On the flight there, she'd been so nervous about anything imaginable. She'd only now realized that that had all slipped away. Was it just Oskar's presence alone? She wasn't sure. But, for the moment, she was comfortable. She didn't have that fight or flight reaction trying to get the better of her. Once inside, she'd just looked around a little. It was interesting how compact Japan tended to be, but he seemed to find himself a decent place. Her attention turned back to him finally as she smirked faintly. "You gonna show me around or what?" she teased.

He'd caught himself just watching her once they were inside. He couldn't help it; she was always the most beautiful person he'd seen. He playfully rolled his eyes at her teasing. " Can, though it's not much," he said, a smile still playing at his lips, though as he moved to start showing her around the apartment. There was even a little dog bed in the living room for when Yuto was over with his dog.

Nova just pouted for a moment though she'd expected that reaction from him. It was worth a shot though, right? "Okay," she nodded taking the key from him. Having to be independent from a young age, she wasn't used to this. But, she would have been lying if she didn't appreciate it. Once at the front door to the apartment, she unlocked the door so that they could get inside.

He couldn't help but chuckle a little when she pouted about not being able to help carry the bags. Though he was happy when she at least accepted, taking the keys and letting them in. He still thought it was surreal that she was even here after all. It didn't seem real, but he was happy she'd taken the time to visit. Would he take it well when she had to go home? Probably not, but that wasn't something he wanted to deal with currently. " Thank you," he said once they were inside and he placed her bags down. It wasn't much, but it was better than living in the hotels. Japan, in general, wasn't really built for a man his size, but it was better in an apartment than in those closets they called hotel rooms.

"It's on par with Vegas, but I might be biased since I was born and raised there." She'd always been drawn to big cities, mostly because she could easily lose herself in them. It made it easier to disappear when she wanted to. The silence that followed made her a little nervous though she wouldn't let it show. Just like the exit from the airport, the drive seemed short enough and once again, she was following alongside the man. "Let me help," she insisted, reaching for one of her bags.

" No, you don't have to," he said when she insisted on helping with the bags. Instead, he just handed her the house key. " You can hold those to let us in," he said with a small chuckle. He couldn't help it; her insistence on helping was cute, not that he'd let her carry probably anything heavy while she was there. Though he also had plans to spoil her while she was here.

Nova didn't really mind his faster pace, rather she simply just didn't want to get lost. "It's fine," she assured him. But, she was happy that it didn't take long to get to the car, a small smile tugging at her lips when he'd opened the door for her. "I don't think anyone's ever done that for me," she mumbled, like it was an afterthought as she got onto the car. She just snorted a little as his comments on the traffic, shrugging her shoulders. "I lived in Manhattan for a bit, traffic's nothing."

Oskar smiled faintly at her words. " New York is definitely its own breed," he said calmly. The one time he'd been there, he wasn't sure he could actually ever drive in the city. "Though I can't say much, I've only been there once recently, when New Japan had their show in New Jersey," he added before falling quiet. It didn't take him long to finally get back to his apartment. Once parked, he moved, opening the door for her and then going to get her stuff out of the truck before leading her up to her apartment.

I'm still just getting used to things.

I know, and that's all I ask for.

Maybe just a little bit.

If she kept an open mind, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. That had been what she'd promised, to just give him a chance. Before she could attempt to argue, he'd taken her bags with ease. Since she doubted that he'd let her carry them anyway, she said nothing. Besides, it was a nice gesture, one she wasn't used to. "Okay," she nodded, taking some longer strides to try and match his pace.

" Sorry," he said, slowing his pace. He wasn't always used to people trying ot keep up with him. Yuto had always just walked at his own pace, even if that meant him falling behind when he and Oskar were out together. Despite their slowed pace it didn't take them long to make it to the car. Loading everything up he also made sure to open the door for her to get into the car. " Now is probably the harder part. "Getting through the traffic to the apartment." he said with a snort.

She didn't want to admit it, but she'd almost ghosted the man again. Why was she like this? It really was just her anxiety getting the better of her. The hardest part was getting on the plane, so after that? Everything was good. Just as she was making her way towards Oskar, he caught up to her quicker. "Hi," she smiled, looking up at him. "It's good to see you too. I mean it." In fact, she meant it more than he likely knew.

If his smile could grow larger, it would have with the way she said that it was good to see him, too. He was glad that it was a little better than last time. Though if he was honest, he knew the last time had been very unexpected, and he'd let his emotions get the better of him. " Here, let me take those," he said before even giving her a chance to argue. He took her bags and suitcase, so she was able to move more freely. " This way," he said softly before leading them out of the airport.

Trust me, I know that feeling. More than I care to admit.
