Venturing High and Low! [Closed;; @Fuuya!]
Fuya hadnât been in the foreign land for perhaps more than a couple days and it was taking a while for him to adjust. Everything was very different from Heartland; from the living arrangements in the rustic villages to the jobs and hobbies that the residents seemed to have picked up. Although the bluenette was extremely relieved to know someone from his world, and a good friend at that, was here, it still didnât change the fact that he too had to get used to Arcadios.
Keen on not wanting to burden his friend by constantly asking him for advice, the duelist had started to wander around his own village and the nearby areas. One place in particular, other than Polis, had caught his attention rather quickly: the great junkyard known as Lipara. He had yet to visit the place, but a few people he overheard in the city had mentioned that there were interesting things if one spent enough time searching, so why not try.
Although he wasnât exactly expecting the scrapyard to be clean or organized, the actor was still taken back by the size of the terrain and the mountains of objects. Finding someone else in this messy place was a surprise too, albeit not an unpleasant one. A brunette wearing a red jacket who, unlike himself, did appear to be searching for something specific. Well, he was trying to meet new people and make friends here, wasnât he? So talking to someone who didnât seem that much older than himself couldnât be a bad idea⌠âExcuse me, do you need any help?â Itâs not like he had a problem with lending a hand or anything.
Liapra was an interesting place as he walked through the piles of junk. Well, within the junk was probably some form of treasure or something! Still, the thought of venturing and looking for valuables brought Judai back to his childhood. Heâd use to play games like this, it was kind of like hide and seek in a sense, but at the same time it was different. He wasnât quite sure what to say about it, but it felt like fun.
The brunette looked towards one pile; he thought there would be some cards in them so he marched over. Bending down, he started to dig through the pile, in hopes of finding himself something! Then after a few seconds, a sigh came out. Nope, nothing he was interested in. Maybe there were just things like wires and pieces of metal, but that wasnât anything he wanted.
Phew, that sure exhausting. The brown head took a seat by one of the piles whilst stripping his jacket off of him. From his deck box, he picked out Winged Kuriboh and only grinned. Geez, they werenât making any progress in finding what they needed. Judai needed to be more precise in digging for things well thenâoh? Judai looked at a seemingly younger male. Â Wait, he was offering to help? Judai, with a smile stood up. Well, help would be appreciatedâif they knew what duel monsters were though.
âWell, help would be nice! But Iâm not sure if you know about what I wanted to look for,â he paused momentarily before making eye contact with the male, âYou know what Duel Monsters are?â
