Dean goes out on a solo hunt, gets injured, and Sam almost ends up ripping John's face apart. He's still angry but Dean assures him that it's not a big deal. Sam's not convinced. He tells himself that he'll never let Dean go out hunting alone ever again. Next time, he'll be there to protect him.

Headcanon where Sam hallucinates Dean throughout his quest to kill Lilith. This is the first time he drinks demon blood and he has never seen Dean this happy before. So he must be doing something good.....right?
