Hi! Please call me Professor Palm! I use she/her pronouns, and am an adult. The main purpose of this blog is for you to ask me questions regarding the Orre Region, its environment, and its Pokémon inhabitants and I’ll answer them when I can. This is fully intended to be a gimmick blog so please keep that in mind. I will be playfully treating the Orre Region as a real place, sticking mainly to Pokémon gens 1-3. Once again, this is all for fun. Don’t take too much of it too seriously.

Let me start off with the bad news: I didn't take any intentional screenshots because I really wasn't expecting to make this post, mostly because I thought I could keep my mouth shut about something that I just kind of assumed no one would be all that interested in.
Actually, I lied. After doing some unnecessarily tedious searching through my computer files, I did find this gem:

Anyways, since this is a lore post, I should probably get started on the lore, right? Let’s begin!
Sims 2 Pokémon Colosseum/XD
For reference, a majority the “biographies” you see are taken from here Bulbapedia. A few of them I made up for the sake of playing the Sims, but for the most part that’s not the case.
Pyrite Town: A noble town of rogues and ruffians. The high-tech ONBS Building is here.

Bio (optional): “She is an old woman who runs a fortunetelling business at the very entrance of Pyrite Town in Orre. She does this by scrying in a crystal ball in order to give advice to others and tell their fortunes. She is known as the "Mother of Pyrite Town". She gets almost as much respect from the town's citizens as Duking. Everyone in town knows her and has asked for her advice at one time or another. Many Pokémon Trainers ask her if they will win battles or tournaments; others ask about romance. Although Fateen appears at first the stereotypical trickster, she does possess actual psychic talent.”
Where Are They Now? Fateen is a senior now, still enjoying her job in the paranormal career track. She still keeps in touch with Dr. Kaminko, Eagun, and Beluh, all of whom she went to college with. (Her and Dr. Kaminko had crushes on each other, btw. Neither acted on it. Dr. Kaminko is a man of science, and Fateen works with things unseen. They both thought it wouldn’t work out, despite their interest in each other.)
Bio (optional): “He is a very large bodybuilder who lives in Pyrite Town. He isn't quite the mayor of Pyrite Town because he wasn't elected. He's just a very strong man who enforces the law. Luckily for the citizens of the desert town, Duking is actually a kind and fair man who is interested in keeping some semblance of order. He also runs the local Colosseum.”

Bio (optional): “Marcia is first seen in the back of her father Duking's house in Pyrite Town. She is part of the underground rebellion against Miror B. and plans to recover Duking's stolen Plusle. Her role is greatly expanded in Pokémon XD. Marcia has now become a reporter for ONBS and has a reputation for being reckless. She and her cameraman, Cameran, are encountered leaving Pyrite on Michael's first visit en route to a news story at Phenac City.”

Bio (optional): “He operates from a back room in Duking's house and may actually be Duking's son, though this is unconfirmed. It is possible that he is simply a friend of Duking's daughters. Secc establishes contact with Nett in The Under via his computer. He helps in finding the Kids Grid. Secc, along with Nett, both become valuable sources of information regarding Cipher's plot and are instrumental in bringing the syndicate down. They act as Wes's main sources of information, apparently because children are often overlooked when they overhear things.”
Where Are They Now? Still as they were when they first moved into their home, since I haven’t really played with them yet 😬
Bio (optional): “He is a young man from Pyrite Town who is widely considered as Duking's best friend, lieutenant, and right-hand man. Brave, loyal, but more than a little foolhardy and luckless—Silva attempts to fight Cipher throughout Pokémon Colosseum but has little luck.”

Bio (optional): “He is from The Under is the genius of Kids Grid. His home and place of operation has a large, rotating antenna dish on top. Nett is Megg's older brother.”

Bio (optional): “She is a member of the Kids Grid and lives with her older brother, Nett, in The Under. She has a Shroomish but it is unknown if she or any of the kids in Pyrite Town and The Under have any other Pokémon.”

Bio (optional): “Bitt is a member of the Kids Grid. He is first encountered standing guard at the door of the Kids Grid, waiting for the Powerup Part. Eventually, he becomes part of the ONBS with most other Kids Grid members due to the group ceasing operations.”

Bio (optional): “Chief Sherles is the much-overworked police chief of Pyrite Town. Keeping order in such an unruly town would be hard under normal circumstances. The fact that he only has Officer Johnson working under him may mean that the police force in Pyrite Town is even more ineffective than one might initially think.”
Eddie Johnson — Baby, Child, Teen, Adult, Senior (Last Name: Sherles)
Zodiac: Sagittarius
Job: Law Enforcement
Aspiration: Popularity
Bio (optional): “Officer Johnson is a bumbling and hyperactive police officer who patrols Pyrite Town. He is not very bright or effective, which probably accounts for the levels of crime in Pyrite Town. He often ends his sentences with the word "Pow".”
"The town's police department is based in a nondescript building on the southern edge of town. It, along with the jail inside, is manned by Chief Sherles and the incompetent Officer Johnson."
Family Notes: I ended up making these two father & son. Now that I’m doing this, I can’t really tell you why. I think I thought it was a good idea at the time.
Where Are They Now? Still as they were when they first moved into their home and got their jobs in law enforcement, since I haven’t really played with them yet 😬
Story Notes: Rooms with Yellosix. Has white skin, red hair? brown hair?, green eyes
Bio (optional): “Smart. Determined. In control. Greesix already has his whole life planned out, and he knows he’s gonna be the best lawyer you’ve ever seen. That and the fact that he’ll most likely be representing his brothers Browsix & Blusix in court for something due to their constant partying.”
Where Are They Now? They all graduated college, a few of them by the skin on their teeth and two of them with honors. They’re all out on their own in the world now. Blusix and Browsix live in different apartments in the same complex, Resix, Purpsix, Greesix, and Yelsix all live in their own homes. Blusix found someone to share his life with, as has Purpsix. Yelsix I’m working on getting abducted by aliens. Also, if you spot any pronoun mix-ups in the brothers’ bios, it’s because originally I had a few of them be girls, but then I was like, wait. They’re the Hexagon Brothers.
Bio (optional): “His ultimate goal is to be inserted as the Governor of Orre, presumably to grant Cipher political control over the region through him. He appears to be a very self-absorbed and egotistical man who doesn't take challengers to his authority lightly.”
Ein — Baby, Child, Teen, Adult, Senior (Last Name: Admin)
Zodiac: Taurus
Job: Science
Aspiration: Knowledge
Bio (optional): “A cruel and callous young scientist, he is long on ambition and short on emotion. He is obsessed with the idea of creating an insanely powerful Pokémon at any cost which he managed to do with amazing results.”
Bio (optional): “Miror B. is the definition of "loud and flamboyant." He spoils his Pokémon and would rather spend time teaching them how to dance than fulfilling his duties as a Cipher Admin.”
Story Notes: Lovrina’s sister, Miror B.’s daughter
Bio (optional): “Considering herself a pop idol and diva, she's obsessed with being popular and attractive to The Under civilians. Some people dislike her for this, but the rest of the Under civilians consider her very beautiful.”
Bio (optional): “She can be hyperactive and narcissistic, generally acting like a stereotypical teenage girl, but she can also be quite nasty when pushed. One of Cipher's researchers calls Lovrina "nothing short of terrifying".”
Story Notes: Boy. Lovrina & Venus’ younger brother, Miror B.’s son. He’s tried to run away before.
Bio (optional): “Professor Krane tries to convince him to leave Cipher. After battling him in order to save Krane, he tells Krane that he is still loyal to Cipher no matter what Krane says to him, and runs off, never to be seen again.”
Family Notes: I had Miror B. become the father for Lovrina, Venus, and Naps only because I feel like they (and by “they” I mean everyone but Naps) are all on the same level of ‘Wants to be popular and/or would be cast in the Orre region’s adaptation of Mean Girls.’
Where Are They Now? Miror B. is in the criminal career track. Venus and Lovrina managed to graduate college and become adults. Lovrina is in the criminal career track, and Venus is in entertainment for now, and you would not believe who they both not only doomed with in college, but ended up marrying! Naps is still at home with Miror B. and is about to go to college. As a teen, he’s in the criminal career track, but isn’t so sure that he really likes it…
Job: Starts off in criminal job, goes to law enforcement/intelligence half way through
Aspiration: Fortune
Bio (optional): “Wes's past is never fully explained. He has apparently been with his Pokémon, Umbreon and Espeon, for years. Wes joins Team Snagem for unclear reasons, but then leaves.”
Where Are They Now? GUESS WHO WES MARRIED? Well, come on, guess! Of course he married Rui! They have two sets of twins now: a boy and a girl named Jax and Sol respectively, and another boy and girl named Azure and Ruby respectively.
Bio (optional): “Though his strange, ape-like appearance and mannerisms make him seem dull, he is actually quite smart (at least smart enough to run the Key Lair effectively) and commands a lot of respect and fear among the Cipher Peons. However, he also has a very short temper.”
Where Are They Now? He got moved into a place to live and hasn’t been touched since.
Bio (optional): “He is never seen without his partner, Trudly.”
Where Are They Now? Trudly and Folly. Folly and Trudly. They managed to graduate college alongside a pair of sisters who you may be familiar with: Lovrina and Venus. And, boy howdy, would you believe that these four roommates dorming together ended up pairing off by senior year after they all got their hearts broken in various ways? And would you believe it any further that they’re married to the girls that they paired off with? That’s right! (Now if only I could remember who paired off with who off the top of my head 😭)

Agate Village: A lush, green town that is peacefully populated by old former ace trainers, where there is a relic honoring Celebi.

Bio (optional): “The elder of Agate Village, he considers it his personal duty to protect all of the other senior citizens in Agate, as well as their Pokémon. In his youth, Eagun was one of the greatest Pokémon Trainers in Orre, if not the world. However, once he started to age, he retired and now lives in the base of a large living tree in Agate Village. Despite his age, Eagun is still in excellent shape, being able to easily outrun two healthy people a fraction of his age.”
Bio (optional): “Beluh is a kind yet fretful old woman who worries when her husband overdoes things. She tends to have a more down to earth personality than Eagun. Beluh is much more organized than Eagun. Beluh also seems to be more capable with technology than her old-fashioned better half.”
Bio (optional): “Rui is a mysterious young girl with psychic abilities. She is the sidekick and deuteragonist in Pokémon Colosseum. She's determined, caring, and brave, but can be a bit bossy and stubborn at times.”
Family Story Notes: So you may have noticed that Eagun and Beluh are Rui's parents here, and not grandparents. That's due to the game- Sims 2, that is. It won't allow elderly people to take care of any old baby in create-a-sim, and now that I write this out, I realize I could have just made her unnamed, unmentioned parents from a blank slate, but that would've made things way too easy.
Where Are They Now? Eagun and Beluh went to college with Fateen and Dr. Kaminko. Eagun and Beluh actually first met and fell in love there! Then they graduated, got married, had Rui, and celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Eagun became an Adventurer while Beluh became a natural scientist, and they both retired from their jobs. Rui ended up going off to college herself and got married and has since had 4 kids with a nice, reformed criminal named Wes. After all those grandkids were born, Eagun passed away at a nice, old age.
Bio (optional): “Dr. Kaminko is an eccentric scientist who lives in a run-down mansion located in western Orre. The doctor specializes in generally useless but sometimes viable inventions. His workroom is rather cluttered and his home is fairly isolated from the rest of Orre, marking him as a sort of recluse with little contact with the outside world. When focusing on some new invention, Dr. Kaminko becomes entirely oblivious to his surroundings and the goings-on of the outside world, and appears to prefer to work alone with his ideas, for his only aide, Chobin is never actually seen to assist him in inventing anything.”
Bio (optional): “Chobin speaks very highly of Dr. Kaminko and takes great pride in being his assistant, even though he often fails to see the impracticality of Kaminko's many questionable inventions. He also has a tendency to battle anyone who steps foot on Dr. Kaminko's property as he mistakes them for robbers.”
Where Are They Now? So, I had Dr. Kaminko go to college with Fateen, Eagun, and Beluh. He has since gotten a job in the science career track, done very well there, he aged up to become a senior, and Chobin ended up moving in, also got a job in the science career track, and has looked up to him ever since. Dr. Kaminko still keeps in touch with Fateen, who he may or may not still have a crush on all these years later.

He also provides free food and drink to the patrons of The Krabby Club, a bar in Gateon Port. However, for most of the game, Mr. Verich's purpose is unknown, and his existence is hardly mentioned at all. Right before Michael goes to Citadark Isle, Mr. Verich leaves Gateon Port, much to the dismay of the Gateon Port residents.”
Bio (optional): “After Greevil's defeat, he tries to convince his father to blow up the island and flee it; however, Eldes, to Ardos's dismay, convinces his father that they should all simply turn themselves in. Ardos is extremely loyal to Cipher's cause, even telling Eldes that their father shall be referred to as the "Grand Master". He also shows far less in terms of morals than any other member of Cipher, even Greevil, as he tries to force his father to destroy Citadark Isle to save Cipher despite the countless deaths that would result instead of accepting defeat.”
Bio (optional): “As well as being a Cipher Admin, Eldes serves as one of Greevil's two bodyguards, the other being Ardos. Eldes eventually stops Greevil and Ardos from blowing up their base, as he realizes that countless people and Pokémon would be killed in the process and this would be immoral. Eldes is not as evil as the other Cipher Admins. He questions Cipher's motives throughout the game. He also shows regret that when he first battles Michael, he is battling him as an enemy and not in the traditional way, to decide who the better Trainer is.”

Bio (optional): “A journalist with a nose for news, if she’s not being mother to her daughter Emili, she’s most likely hot on the trail of the next story.”
Story Notes: Emili is Jovi's friend, becomes Perr's friend. Maybe they grow up together and get married?
Bio (optional): “Always friendly, Emili makes a friend everywhere she goes. Her best friend is Jovi.”
Where Are They Now? Okay, so I sent Acri through college, where met her now-husband, Sam Rock. After they graduated, they had their daughter, Emili, who is a teen now and is BFFs with Jovi. She’s being prepped for college, where she’ll end up dorming with Jovi and Perr. And as you can read in the story notes, I have some cute plans for her 💕
Bio (optional): “He mentions that in his youth, he used to run the locomotive that Cipher now uses to smuggle Shadow Pokémon into The Under. He was also considered to be a "mechanical genius," operating all kinds of heavy machinery back when The Under was still a mining town. In Pokémon XD, the Junk Shop is reestablished in Gateon Port after The Under is sealed off. Makan is later met in the basement of Dr. Kaminko's house, where he reveals that he is a friend of the strange inventor.”
Bio (optional): “Perr is a member of the Kids Grid. He lives in what appears to be a Junk Shop, run by his grandfather, Makan. The bottom floor is a maze of old machine parts, gadgets and other items. The second floor contains a desk and a few more seemingly random objects. In Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, he and Makan move the Junk Shop to Gateon Port.”
Where Are They Now? Perr and his father (I know he should be his grandfather, but blame game limitations for that) weren’t all that rich. But they spent plenty of time tinkering together, repairing a car in the driveway that Perr drove to school and to work in the science career track. He even became an overachiever! Now I have just sent him off to college, where I hope I remember that I’m gonna set him up for a life in journalism with his future wife(?), Emili.
Job: Criminal, and then halfway through enters the military

Bio (optional): “He is a minor character that appears in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. He is the only character in the games to have the Trainer class Thug.”

Phenac City: A gorgeous jewel of a town that overflows with water in a foreboding desert.
Due to neighborhood reasons, Phenac City has become Phenac University. With that being said, Phenac residents got moved to other neighborhoods that seemed like a good fit for them.

Bio (optional): “A fat and jolly gentleman, he appears to be worried about the increase in crime caused by Cipher and Team Snagem. He seems to be easily flustered and incompetent. However, Es Cade doesn't seem to actually be doing anything in regards to the crisis in Orre.”
Bio (optional): “He lives and works in Phenac City, in Orre. He has assumed the job of Mayor from Es Cade. Trest often patronizes Realgam Tower and will send the player an e-mail when it reopens during the game.”
Where Are They Now? They got moved into a place to live, got jobs, and haven’t been touched since.
Bio (optional): “He is a young man who is renowned for being one of the best professional Pokémon Trainers in Orre. Justy has built up a large fan following, especially in Phenac City. For most of the young Pokémon Trainers in Phenac City, defeating Justy is the ultimate goal.”

Story Notes: has a crush on Lilly. Does he ever do anything about it— like, does he ever act on it?
Bio (optional): “Professor Krane is the resident Professor of Orre in Pokémon XD. He lives at the Pokémon HQ Lab in the northwestern portion of the region.”
Bio (optional): “She lives at Professor Krane's lab with her two children, Michael and his younger sister Jovi. Lily works at the Pokémon HQ Lab in Orre. While there, she works on one of the main projects, the Purify Chamber.”
Michael — Baby, Child, Teen, Adult, Senior (Last Name: Krane)
Zodiac: Pisces
Job: Natural Science
Aspiration: knowledge
Bio (optional): “He is an up-and-coming Trainer ready for his own journey with his Eevee, his starter Pokémon entrusted to him by his father. Traveling across Orre, he seeks to defeat the criminal organization Cipher, which is now under Grand Master Greevil's plot to wield an army of Shadow Pokémon in order to rule the world.”
Bio (optional): “Jovi often refers to herself in the third-person and can also be condescending towards her brother at times, such as when Michael comes to find her at Kaminko's manor and bring her back to the lab, only for Jovi to claim that Michael is the one who's lost and needs her to get back home.”
Where Are They Now? So, Michael and Jovi’s father, Lily’s husband Brendan, died tragically after getting trapped in a small bathroom and the doors suddenly disappeared. Lily, Michael, Jovi, and Brendan’s brother James who just so happens to be living with all of them, all grieved the loss. As time went on, James did a great job helping to raise the kids. He developed a crush on Lily who, eventually, developed a crush on James in return. Just before Michael went off to college, Lily and James got married. Michael is off and living on his own now. Although his degree allows for a promising career as a natural scientist or even an adventurer, he feels the deep, aching want to become a criminal. Much like Hamlet, Jovi is still a teen living with her mom and step-dad-slash-uncle. She’s preparing to go to college and live with her BFF, Emili, as well as Perr.
Bio (optional): “He plays a role in the start of the game, where he is playing hide-and-seek (likely the origin of his Japanese name) with Michael's sister Jovi. He helps Michael discover where Jovi is: Dr. Kaminko's house.”
