It wasn’t just New York, rather basically the whole country that was in a state of frenzy which resulted in the school extending Spring Break until the beginning of April. If it came to it they would completely close the school and resort to online classes. Atticus wasn’t sure how he felt about it all but the older man had spent the day preparing lesson plans that would accommodate for this. His eyes were burning and straining from looking at the screen of a computer all day, deciding to take a break. That’s when he heard the knock at the door, pulling away from the counter as he started to prepare dinner. “Orion,” Atticus furrowed his brows when seeing the younger man behind the door, there was a certain flutter in his heart when seeing the beautiful boy before him. “Is everything alright?” he asked, seeing the concern on the others face as he took a step back to allow the other to enter. 

Orion mustered a smile, standing up a little straighter as he walked in. His green eyes found the professor’s, but couldn’t hold the gaze before he felt a little nervousness and had to look away again. He didn’t want to feel foolish for bothering Atticus at home. “Um... yeah, I think I’m just a little freaked out about all this and needed to talk to another human being to keep my sanity. I... Don’t know what to do, I guess. I mean. I do know what to do, I’m supposed to stay in and not go out and all that stuff, but I’m just... scared, I guess?” he said, shrugging a little and walking over to sit on the couch. “I’ve never seen anything like this, and I’m just worried about... I don’t know. Everything. Too much. I guess I just needed to distract myself so I can stop thinking so damn much. I’m sorry if I’m interrupting anything,” he said, suddenly realizing he was just coming inside and making himself at home.
