VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION. LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS.

(Oh, boy… I can already feel this is gonna be one chaotic answer. Consider this a warning.)

I was thinking, this guy literally wakes up with the most flawless, immaculate, luscious curls I have ever seen in my life.

Seriously.

He comes out of his tent to scream at me in his underwear, and I'm supposed to believe he just naturally looks like THIS???

Nah.

Like, how the hell is that even possible?? I stare through the crack in this guy’s tent at night, and he sleeps on his back. I’m a full-time belly sleeper, but my curls still look like shit when I wake up. What kind of witchcraft does this man practice????

(And for real, how does this psychotic son of a bitch sleep like THAT?? Not even a damn pillow???? No wonder why he’s always in a bad mood in the mornings… geez)

So, I figured… maybe, he doesn't use a curling iron (or witchcraft, for that matter)

What if Dutch secretly sleeps with those clip-on hair rollers?? Each night, he damps his hair and puts it all nicely in place. He sleeps on his back to hide the rollers, and as soon as he gets up in the morning, he rips them out before anybody can see.

BUT.

OH, BROTHER.

What if the Pinkertons show up to camp in the middle of the night for a surprise visit? Someone screams, "the Pinkertons are coming!!" In a panic, Dutch immediately rushes from the tent. He doesn’t even have the time to rip the rollers out, and he is too distracted to think about them to begin with.

So, there he is running around in his skivvies trying to blast all the intruders as everybody else just stares in shock at his head full of women’s hair rollers. He can’t figure out why everybody is gawking at him and not shooting. Then, he remembers….

Dutch quick runs off to hide in a bush as he frantically tears the rollers out, but the damage is done. Everybody knows his secret. He will NEVER live it down.

(Also, they were probably bright pink rollers, just like in the picture)

However, since the original ask was about a curling iron, I feel it is only appropriate to go back to that.

IT'S JUST THAT, WHAT IF --

Howdy! I’ve been through the files of RDR2 and compiled all instances I could find of each gang member’s camp dialogue, available for download.

Note that this is ambient dialogue, and nothing from random events, companion missions, and story missions (aside from a few exceptions because I changed my mind halfway through). No music or singing has been included that has already been made available by @mephistia-arts​ who has a post here where you can download those.

There’s a lot of files that are unnamed, and there are definitely some I’ve missed (such as all of John’s drunk lines), but I haven’t been able to find them.
