possibly in michigan.

it was as it always was, sonic on an adventure with his friends, sonic coming face to face with his enemy, sonic winning the day and celebrating his victory. it was as if it were a loop of events, leaps would’ve been convinced it were, if it weren’t for the odd occasional changes in the scenarios. 

it was disgusting. it made him sick to his stomach. they... don’t they realise? have they never wondered? never... never wondered if there was something missing? something.. wrong? they had to, right? he wasn’t stuck like this for no reason, was he?

was it only him who understood? who knew this wasn’t right? that that... imposter of a hedgehog was living his life? it couldn’t be, could it?

he sat himself down, watching the colourful cast celebrate another victory. he’d barely thought to pay attention to what was worth celebrating.

perhaps its on purpose, how they act as if he isn’t there watching. perhaps its all a cruel joke. they have to know.. something has to be confusing them.. someone has to have felt as if there was somebody missing. 

did they just forget about it? push it to the back of their mind? ..or.. or did they really not know.
