Viserys was made Prince of Dragonnstone, and Rhaella splits her time between the island and the capital, carrying Daenerys with her. Stannis Baratheon took his rightful seat at Storm’s End and married Elia Martell, the young Renly was sent to Highgarden as a ward, and Robert? Well, once a hoe, always a hoe. In Dorne, Cersei Lannister finally found her chance at happiness, she married Oberyn Martell, and Jaime went with her, giving up his chance to be Lord of Casterly Rock. With Joanna alive and well, Tywin had little hatred for his youngest child, and Tyrion became his heir. In the North, with Brandon dying in the rebellion, Eddard Stark became Lord of Winterfell and married Catelyn Tully.

No longer dealing with the strain of their own unhappiness, their biggest concern was making marriage alliances for their own children.

there is a difference between someone shipping differently than me ( GO OTHER SHIPS I SUPPORT YOU, HAVE YOUR FUN ) and supporting groomed abuse.

for those who are unfamiliar with the term ‘grooming’ …. well let me just quote (paraphrasing) my homegirl && olympic athlete ariana kukors smith, who is currently suing certain olympic officials for allowing hutchison her “alleged” abuser prolonged access to her, “ when an abuser [has the capacity to] take over physical emotional psychological control over this person [that is grooming]”

a few things that are touched on by kukors story is that: -there is usually an obvious power dynamic, by age, experience, leadership role, mentorship, or otherwise perceived advantage // idolship .

-there is likely an age gap, (usually significant).

-the abuser often targets their victim at a young age.

-the abuser likely has manipulated the victim by claiming they have power over a certain aspect of the victims future or relationships.

often an abuser will act like anyone else (compliments, light physical contact or affection), at first to build trust, but really the important thing that differentiates a normal relationship + hugging && an abusive relationship + hugging is INTENT.

THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WRITING ABUSIVE SHIPS AND RECOGNIZING IT'S ABUSIVE AND WRITING IT THAT WAY/TAGGING IT, AND WRITING INHERENTLY ABUSIVE SHIPS BUT SEEING IT AS PERFECTLY OKAY AND NON-TOXIC.

thank you so much! ( although this might just prove how stalker i am about your blog asdfghjkl ) **SORRY THIS IS SO LONG** uhh... hmmm... nouns (people, places, things) that make me happy...

1. @fuckingagendas is my best friend irl, && whenever i see them i’m SO happy. ( their current munday is a photo shoot that we did just this weekend) 2. long car rides. when my family and i go on longer trips we build up the back seat into a pillow fort && make room for all sorts of entertainment. i’ve always gotten super car sick, so it was their way of making transit more enjoyable for me. also, the car was always the most time that i spent with my parents && i still go into a passenger//drivers seat to sit, talk, and find comfort. 3. stars. i was a very nerdy child && i quickly became obsessed with stars after our spoken-word + space unit. spoken word stories, passed down from generation to generation just filled me with wonder. i was so taken with nature’s twinkly lights that my parents caught my sleeping outside holding a book of myths more than once. they ended up buying a cheap projector to display them on the ceiling so that i’d stop catching colds. 4. crystals. AGAIN i was a nerdy child. a boy from my school came back from some sort of trip with geodes he had collected along the way. i thought that they looked like dragon eggs. i quickly picked up everything you need to know about rocks (not that i could tell you now). the rocks were so pretty && you can find geodes in the most eastern part of my state. 5. thunderstorms. the deep rumble of dark clouds that shook the earth never frightened me. it always sounded like magic and though the sky turned purple ( a color ??? that scared me?? ) i always felt special when the lights would all turn off && we all would just listen.

hey im sorry to be needy like this, but i could use some positivity rn :// it’s been a hard day .
