[ her eyes widened for a moment, brows furrowed and arms limp at her sides. the dull thud of the marker brought her back to her senses. without a word, her eyes wandered to her surroundings: it all looked foreign. ]

"I'm just a traveler. --Lost. A lost traveler."
[ a ridiculously fake smile made its way onto her lips; her hands clasped at her waist. ]
"Well now, hang on a second. We ain’t got the means to go findin’ a boat ‘round here. Best start off with an airship an’ see where we go from there…"
The girl’s enthusiasm was nothing short of ecstatic, but nothing was free. Furthermore, they still needed to find themselves an airship that wasn’t guarded by Columbian patrols. Perhaps a more subtle way was needed.

As much as she hated admitting it, the splicers worried her a bit. There was no doubt that they'd run into a few a lot, but they'll cross that bridge when they get to it. Besides, what's a bunch of lunatics to a detective and his... escort.
"This girl means something to you, correct? Then we have two options: we save her, or we die trying. And I'm not prepared to die just yet."
She pauses for a moment and releases a gentle sigh, gaze softening considerably. "Just.. It'll take some work, but we'll get there."
