I’ve recently gotten into BG3 this is my OC stillwell (name accidentally taken from Fields of Mistra)
With introductions out of the way this picture is one of grief which I’m dedicating to everyone who has ever been friends, are friends, or interacted with @rattfinkstruelove aka Alex
Weather you knew her from her duckman era or catscratch to space goofs or Rocky horror, robo roach to roland and Rattfink this picture is for all of us who had to leave for our own sanity
I cared, it hurt and it still hurts to care because she isn’t worth our energy, we didn’t “betray” her as she always puts it, we just saw a adult woman with the mentaility of a child a 8-9 year old
I did some research into down syndrome as judging by how she looks she has it, and it said that those with Down syndrome “ As adults, their mental abilities are typically similar to those of an 8- or 9-year-old.”
And it all clicked all of it my friend put it best “ she’s projecting all of that onto a fictional character instead of forming real connections. That’s why her friendships fall apart. She doesn’t know how to attach to real people, so she attaches to fantasy in a way that replaces reality instead of supporting it.”
And that’s why I’m grieving for all of us who tried to help, tried to befriend her, tried to get her support, tried.
I’m grieving the fact that no matter what F/O she has or fandom she goes in her unable to separated fiction from reality will forever isolate her
But most of all I grieve my lost time. On and off from 2019-2026 I tried to be a good friend I tried to befriend her, draw for her, engage in what she liked I tried watching space goofs (a penguin episode) I drew space goofs art and even a ship, I watched Roland and rattfink just to see what it was she loved about him and I could definitely see some shonen-ai between rattfink and Roland I couldn’t even finish and episode it just wasn’t me
The final breaking point was a letter she wrote thats on her tumblr she wrote a letter to a fictional character a fictional brother stating things like “ Someday I will find a way to go to the MST3K universe and meet you because I love you big brother... Well, not to sound like incest or something but l also have a crush on you...”
“ I want to be part of the S.O.L crew too... l wish I could be in the same family as my big brother... I want to stay with him and Rattfink (my husband) forever... I didn't ask to be separated from him but I had to in this life... Deep down I'm starting to feel deep down something in me has snapped like something hasn't been fixed...”
This was my breaking point with befriending her, caring about her. I’m grieving someone who was never going to be well who would never be the friend I hopped
