“I am a triple-changer from Tetrahex,” Flywheels murmured, “I’m… a Decepticon sort of… It’s… it’s complicated. But I won’t do anything! I just… I’m looking for somewhere safe and quiet. Is the… war still on here? Does your verse… have a DJD?”

Optimus’ optics narrowed but he did not move to harm the other mech. After all being a Decepticon was a choice and maybe Flywheels did not want to be one anymore. “What is the DJD?”

Flywheels relaxed just a small bit as Optimus did not immediately attack him, wings lowering slightly. “The Decepticon Justice Division. They h-hunt, torture and execute failures and traitors… like me…”

That sounded all to like the Decepticons to Optimus. Though it was a Megatron from another dimension and not his own mate it still troubled Optimus how easily most Megatron’s adapted such means. “The Decepticons here do not have such a thing to my knowlege. If you seek asylem here than i can grant it to you.”

“I… I don’t want to cause trouble,” Flywheels murmured, shuffling in place, “or to get anyone hurt because of me… They can track List member’s signals and I don’t know if they can do it across universes…”

Optimus shook his helm. “It would be not be any trouble. I will no allow anyone who wishs to live in peace to be harassed. As long as you do not harm my Autobots or humans, you will be welcome here.”

Flywheels looked to the Prime, shifting from pede to pede as he felt torn. “I… it would be nice to be able to visit from time to time, but I… I think I would end up bringing danger down on your helms if I stayed all the time. The DJD in my verse… they’ve killed phase sixers. One of which almost killed my verse’s version of you. It… would not be fair of me to ask you for asylum, but… but I’m not ungrateful for the offer…”

The Prime nodded. "I will not force you to stay if you do not wish to but you will always be welcome here."

::I’m approaching the planet on what is currently the sunward side. My ships computer says I should be landing somewhere near a settlement called “Roswell” in less than a joor.::

::I will send one of my team for pick up.::

::Thank you sir. Coppertone out.:: A few hours later, a small ship landed near Roswell. Thankfully, no humans were in the immediate area to spot it.

The Prime had come with his team and walked up to the young femme. "Greetings to you, Coppertone."

Optimus sighed at the dedication of the other mech. While such work ethic was commendable, it was still never good to neglect recharge. “Perceptor, why are you not in recharge?”

Percy was starting to doze when he heard Prime. He jumps a bit. “Huh?! oh um…I need to finish reading these reports before I recharge. I don’t want to make mecha wait on my opinions and such. Just in case its time sensitive.”

“I am sure that there is nothing that can’t wait until morning.” He put a gentle servo on the scienctist’s shoulder. “Get some recarge, Percecptor.” Optimus would have done well to follow his own advice but the new bond made him restless. He had given up after laying awake for hours.

He looks up at Optimus. Sighing after a bit. “O-okay. I just… I want to be more helpful. I can’t fight like the others can. I’m useless in fighting. So I feel like I’m not helping much.” He stands up slowly. Rubbing his optics after taking his glasses off. 

"Perceptor, wars are not won by fighting alone. An army needs more than just fighters to survive. The repairs you make, the equipment you make, it has saved the lives of my soliders. I could not run this army without you."
