Endometriosis sucks! Like Debbie (from the post below), I haven't been "properly" diagnosed, but have all the symptoms. They didn't want to risk an "unnecessary surgery" if the treatments they would give me anyway work. The treatments being hormones and NSAID's. Which I suppose I get, but also, a girl wants to know! P.S. They don't work... 😐 What haven't I tried, at great financial expense, to treat/alleviate the pain and discomfort... ✅ @mooncupltd period cup ✅ @kindorganic Organic cotton pads ✅ @myliviaofficial TENS machine ✅ Mirena implant ✅ Contraceptive pill ✅ Over the counter painkillers ✅ Prescription painkillers ✅ Heat pads ✅ Quit smoking ✅ Cut down caffeine intake Oh goodness... The list goes on. Every month I become severely Anaemic and can't leave the house for at least two days or it will be blood in the streets! It's debilitating, painful and stressful plus it stops me from fulfilling my potential both personally and professionally. I mean who wants to hire someone who needs to take off at least 3 to 4 days a month? Plus it's stopped me from organising events as I always have to work around my cycle. It's not just during my period I also get pain, anxiety and depression mid cycle because my body is in constant fight mode with my hormones! Why not go to the doctor? I've been going for the last 7 years and I have option yes and I've tried a few but none have worked. Unfortunately my last option is a hysterectomy or to remove my womb which I really don't want to do!
