Honestly they should have let Eddie live. If they wanted him “out of the way” for season 5 and not really write him in properly then they could have just throw him in the jail/prison. Dustin would still have been angry. Slightly different vibes but definitely still angry. Kid in quarantined town whose friend was wrongly convicted(?), who the town still accuses and talks shit about and he cannot really help or even visit. Call maybe if they’re lucky. He would be pissed and still act irrational for sure.
