Both weekend events start at 20:00 CEST on EU, and 3 PM EDT on NA, and you can also look for us in LFG!
The top 3 of each racial category will each receive a prize, and the overall winner from all 5 races will win custom-made character artwork by Malchemist. The winner will be announced on Day 1 of the Tyria Pride 2019 event on June 22nd!

Tyria Pride 2019 is on, everybody!
Citizens of Tyria! You are invited to join us in celebrating Tyria Pride 2019 this June 22nd and 23rd, starting at 16:00 CEST on EU and 4 PM EDT on NA on both days! We march primarily to show our support for gender and sexual minority players, some of which have found Guild Wars 2 to be one of a few safe places to simply be themselves and get away from the hardships they face in the outside world. In other words, we march to spread the message of positivity, acceptance and love! Allies and proponents of equality for all are especially welcome to attend, as are those who are members of LGBTQIA+ communities! In addition to having fun in-game, we also want to make a positive impact in the world by supporting a fundraiser! For the second year in a row, we are teaming up with Gamers Giving Back, who is leading the organisation on the NA side, and together we are raising funds for Rainbow Railroad, a charity focused on providing support to LGBTQ individuals seeking a safe haven from countries where their lives are at risk for simply being who they are.

Normally Iām not able to deliver answers to lore questions because it involves consulting with the narrative team, and much of the time if they havenāt addressed something in game theyāre reserving it for later or they would need to write it up (which takes a lot of time and consultation).Ā
But Iāve received a few messages about this, and wanted to get it cleared up because I know itās important for real-world reasons, too:Ā It is totally cool to roleplay an LGBTQA character, regardless of their species.Ā
We know that sometimes lore debates can involve speculative assumptions about whatĀ āmakes senseā based on real-world prejudices and social structures, but that speculation isnāt more lore-friendly simply because some people in the real world hold terrible ideas. Youāre free to create the character you want, and youāre not obligated to incorporate prejudice into their backstory if thatās not something you want to explore.Ā
On a side note, I answer a lot of messages privately but can only answer anonymous asks publicly, and so I err on the side of not answering those if it seems like the question is personal. Weāve also received a lot of kind and supportive comments that I canāt always respond to personally, but I pass them along to the right people. Thank you all!Ā ąø /į ļ½”į½ļ½”į \

Join us on 24 Hours of Triple Trouble in support of Pink Day in LA this Saturday & Sunday on September 22nd and 23rd for an unforgettable challenge of not one, not two, not even 5, but seven Triple Troubles over the course of more than 24 hours
The event starts at 21:30 CEST on our regular Triple Trouble on Saturday, and keeps going until our regular TT at 21:30 CEST on Sunday, with 5 Triple Trouble events in between the two, and tons of fun activities during downtimes!
Whether youāve never done Triple Trouble before in your life, whether youāre a veteran, or whether youāve done it so much youāre already sick of it, we guarantee it will be tons of fun, so come join us!
