Is not a joke anymore....
Fun fact: My sister’s name is Foxy. Another fun fact: This is based on true events. I just thought that it was so fitting that Terrence would do this if he had internet access.
I made more below the break :3
You might recognize the scene in the third panel.
Wow, 21 pages! There are like 15 left.

the ‘kind character snapping’ trope has been co-opted by too many people who don’t understand it fundamentally. you can’t have your character actively think of themselves as that kind of person bc that makes it like bragging. ‘you wouldn’t like me when i’m angry 😡’ ’no more mister nice guy 😈’ ’demons run when a good man goes to war 👿’ ’honestly i scare myself sometimes 😰’ WROOOOOONG. those are all threats. first off a truly kind character should be humble and not even consider kindness a thing of theirs. and second off please. if they’re truly gentle they should be ashamed of the very thought of their own wrath and not like openly talk about it. yeah i bet they do scare themselves and others when they finally get pushed too far but like don’t have them say or consciously think that without shame… it should be like a tragic thing that happens to them against their will and not like an alter ego they’ve been gleefully looking for an excuse to slip into
I got bored and wrote a beach episode
The sun shone brightly on the sandy shore, casting a golden glow over the entire beach. The team, having just completed a high-stakes mission, had been granted a rare day off to relax. Though they’d usually prefer something more action-packed, Vince had insisted that they needed to unwind, and after some grumbling, everyone had agreed.
The sea was calm, lapping at the shore in gentle waves, which was perfect for Kalina and Waldorf. Both semi-aquatic, they had a natural connection to water, even if their relationship to it was a little different. Kalina, graceful and composed, waded into the shallows, allowing the water to lap at her legs while watching the others with a quiet, thoughtful gaze. Vince, ever the professional, took a seat on a nearby towel, his eyes scanning the group to make sure everyone was staying safe, but he couldn’t help but soften when he saw Kalina. The momentary peace seemed to bring out his gentler side.
Waldorf, on the other hand, was already creating chaos. They launched themselves into the ocean with a whoop of joy, splashing water in every direction, not caring in the least about the fine details of safety. “Catch me if you can!” Waldorf yelled, grinning like a child, before disappearing into the deeper waters. Vince winced, half tempted to follow and reign them in, but Kalina gave him a playful nudge.
“Let them be,” Kalina said, her tone light. “They’ll come back eventually.”
Waldorf resurfaced in a flurry of bubbles, their wild hair sticking to their face as they playfully splashed water at Vince, then at Red, who was sprawled out on a towel, lazily watching the waves.
“Race you to that rock!” Waldorf challenged, pointing to a large, jagged outcrop in the distance.
Red glanced up, half-interested. “You know I’m not going anywhere near that rock, right?” He took a sip from his coconut drink, unbothered. "You're just asking for trouble."
“Oh, come on!” Waldorf pouted, spinning in the water. “Don’t be such a buzzkill, Red.”
Vince, unable to resist, gave Red a sidelong look. "You could use the exercise."
Red grinned, showing that he was far more clever than he let on. “Exercise, huh? Fine, but only because I want to see you wipe out halfway there.”
The two dove into the water, kicking up foam in their wake. Vince and Kalina stayed on the shore, watching the antics with quiet amusement. Kalina nudged Vince again, a teasing glint in her eye. “Are you sure you’re okay with them acting like this? You’re usually the one keeping everyone in check.”
Vince’s lips twitched upward. “I’m trying to let go of control. A little chaos never hurt anyone.” He glanced at her, the weight of his words not lost on Kalina. "Besides, I trust them."
Kalina smiled softly, her gaze flicking between Vince and the group. “They’ll never let us down.”
Meanwhile, Finn, the true embodiment of chaos, was already halfway through dismantling an abandoned beach umbrella, his head buried in the mechanics of it. Aubrey, who had been lounging under the shade of a palm tree with a scowl on her face, noticed Finn’s antics and immediately stalked over.
“Finn, what the hell are you doing?” Aubrey snapped, hands on her hips. “You’re going to break that and then—”
“I’m just fixing it!” Finn’s voice was all wide-eyed innocence. “See, I just wanted to understand how it works. You never know when you might need a beach umbrella with a turbo mechanism!” His words were muffled as he shoved his head further into the pole.
Aubrey opened her mouth to argue, but instead, she sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. “You better not break it. I’ll never hear the end of it.”
“I won’t! I promise!” Finn shot back, already distracted by a seagull that had flown too close to his head.
Aubrey watched for a moment longer before rolling her eyes and returning to her spot under the tree. As always, Finn’s energy was unpredictable, but something about the way he worked so passionately kept her from truly getting upset with him.
Not far from them, Waldorf and Red had reached the rock—though not in the way they’d planned. Red was clinging to the side, laughing uncontrollably, while Waldorf had slipped and was now dangling upside down from a low-hanging ledge.
“You’re *insane*,” Red shouted between fits of laughter.
“Oh, stop being such a baby!” Waldorf retorted, their voice muffled by the water as they shook off the salty spray. “It’s just a rock! You’re not going soft on me, are you?”
Red grinned and climbed onto the rock with surprising agility for someone so laid-back. “Okay, okay, maybe you're not as reckless as I thought,” he teased. “But next time—I'm making sure there’s no saltwater involved.”
“Deal!” Waldorf yelled, before launching off the rock into the water again.
Back on the shore, Kalina raised an eyebrow. “Are we really going to let them continue this?”
Vince’s eyes softened with the slightest hint of a smile. “Let them have their fun. They’ve earned it.”
Kalina smiled, her usual sense of responsibility giving way to the warmth of the moment. “I guess even the most serious of us can get a little reckless sometimes.”
Vince chuckled, his voice low. “I suppose that’s true.” He turned to look at her. “What about you? How do you feel about... letting go?”
Kalina hesitated, her gaze flicking to the playful chaos around them. After a beat, she gave a small nod, her face softening into a smile. “Maybe I can try it,” she said. “A little chaos wouldn’t hurt.”
And just like that, Vince saw a glimpse of the more carefree side of Kalina. Maybe it was the beach air, or maybe it was the company, but for once, the weight of responsibility seemed lighter. They could all afford a break, a moment to let the tides pull them into a simpler, more playful rhythm.
As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, painting the world in hues of pink and orange, the group came together, laughing and joking, with no mission in sight—just the peace of the moment, and the unspoken understanding that sometimes, chaos was exactly what they needed.
Just some lore for a spieces I’ve created
Wraiths are divided into three distinct subspecies, each uniquely adapted to its environment through specialized biochemical and anatomical modifications. Crimson Wraiths harness a highly flammable substance—methane—that is abundantly produced within their bodies. They generate fire at varying intensities by channeling this methane through their specialized combustion systems. Their native realm is a murky, swamp-like dimension where prey and vegetation are saturated with methane. By consuming methane-laden fruits and animals, Crimson Wraiths continuously replenish their energy reserves. Should they experience prolonged methane deprivation, they become noticeably subdued; however, their digestive chemistry is adept at converting alternative substances into methane, ensuring a steady supply. Despite their volatile biochemistry, Crimson Wraiths remain calm and collected, often serving as mediators in disputes both within their kind and among other species. Their extensive experience with combustible spinal fluid has allowed them to master its manipulation—enabling them to create intricate constructs and produce controlled, non-harmful flames.
Verdant Wraiths have evolved to thrive in the depths of their oceanic habitat. Their gills function dualistically: they draw in water for respiration and expel it forcefully to provide propulsion, allowing agile maneuvering in their underwater world. For terrestrial excursions, they can temporarily trap water within their gills by sealing them against their scales, though this adaptation is effective only for short periods. Once their water reserves are exhausted on land, they suffocate, making them vulnerable to predation. Their diet is as diverse as their habitat, consisting of blood kelp, peepers, stalkers, kelp seed pods, and various corals. Intriguingly, the air pockets found within their cave dwellings supply enough oxygen to sustain them during brief forays onto land, illustrating a clever balance between aquatic and terrestrial life. Despite being the apex predator of their ecosystem, Verdant Wraiths are quite “chill”, regularly hunting for sport and letting the fish free once they’ve had their fun. On a somber note, if a Verdant Wraith dries up on land, their corpse turns into quite the delicacy to any carnivorous species nearby.
Azure Wraiths are renowned for their formidable physical strength. Their extreme muscle density enables them to shift massive boulders, securing their cavernous homes. Nurtured in a mana-rich environment from a young age, they learn to harness this energy, which allows them to amplify their muscle mass up to sixteen times their natural density. Enhanced muscles, paired with echolocation, aid in navigating the labyrinthine cave systems and mountainous regions they inhabit. Due to their cave system homes and lifestyle, Azure wraiths are completely blind, where their eyes lay a series of plates that open up based on the strength and power they want their echolocation to be. Due to the strength of their echolocation, Azure Wraiths can emit a powerful sonic boom from their face plates, ranging from being able to break rock, to being able to dig out caves for homes. Despite their intimidating power, Azure Wraiths are inherently peaceful and frequently collaborate with Crimson Wraiths. As gastroliths, they ingest rocks and stones—not only to extract vital nutrients but also to absorb residual mana. Adult Azure Wraiths typically stand around seven feet tall, while juveniles measure roughly four feet. They can channel excess mana to increase their size further; however, this growth is counterbalanced by a proportional decline in cognitive capacity, ensuring that their massive physiques remain in check.
