KINDNESS IS NOT ALL LIES
I was told the right will always win
That goodness grows beneath the skin
They said the kind will never fall
Then why do monsters own it all?
Where was the world they said I'd find?
So full of peace, so warm, so kind?
Why does the truth taste bitter and cold?
Why are the heroes selfish and old?
Were the tales just a beautiful hoax
Were the stories just age old folks
Is really this all just a illusion
Or am I the one in delusion?
Maybe it all was just a lie
Maybe not, let’s hope not die
So I’ll be kind though no one sees,

And plant soft words like fragile trees.
The legends may not all be lie
Some perhaps be planted to better the ties

And maybe now it’s up to me

To write the world they hoped would be.
