Indonesia plans to eliminate 16,000 jobs this month held by children. The goal is to completely end child labor in the country by 2022.

God has seen our unloveliness— the deep brokenness and rebellion in our hearts— and instead of withdrawing, he pursues us to the beautiful end. He made an eternal commitment to sinners because of His great love for us. And because grace is true, you can face the world with all of its dangers and troubles, knowing you have been established forever as blameless by the holy groom, Jesus Christ.

try and seek out the solutions. Not ones that will entirely absolve us all from the collective problem that we as government, consumers and brand, have created. Every little helps as it were. It’s about building up awareness of the alternatives as well as making the active choices to invest in them

If you are just out to make money, god bless: I hope you make some money. If you just want awards or recognition or for others to think highly of you, I hope you get that too. But I don’t think anyone is really satisfied by fame or fortune. I find it incredibly satisfying (and gratifying, rewarding and pleasant) to honestly have done the best job I could have done on something and I believe that works for everyone else too. Being skillful and exercising your mastery is what you’re here to do. Doing anything less undermines the whole point of being alive.
