my internal screaming from

I really hate making long post like this but I’m sad to announce that I will be taking a hiatus in the phandom.

I just really don’t feel the need to watch Dan and Phil as much as I did in my 7th to 8th grade self. I think that as a people they have changed quite a bit, and I am the type of person to where I don’t like change; it’s not that I don’t like them necessarily I just don’t like the type of vibe that I’m getting from them now.

For example, I don’t really get the ongoing joke that Dan continuously brings up in every episode/video I get that that is his branding, but I believe that since his audience is growing up that he should change it up and not keep bringing up the same thing about how he goes through existential crisis’ every day or how he’s so depressed and it’s so cool to be depressed I think he’s giving off the wrong impression about what these things are, and they’re not necessarily something that should be normalized because at the end of the day in real life it’s is a serious condition that you should get help for.

Now I’m not saying that I am going to leave behind everything that I’ve worked for on this blog, but I think I need to spend some time away from dan and phil and then see what is in my future for this blog and for the phandom as a whole.
