These are anurans of lower classes, this whole thing is gonna be a little bit all over the place, bear with me here okay, okay!

From left to right;

Farmer

Inspired by middle anatolian modern-ish clothing. It is really hard to find middle anatolian references from the 18th century :( Fabrics are mostly cotton, dyes are from mushrooms and grasses. Animal fibers are also used (wolves, bears etc for stuff like shoes, outer coats, armour...) living animal resouces are used but mostly not the dead's. Sacrifices are often eaten but natural deaths are burned. Using an animals body permanantly is seen as inappropriate amongst theese people. (Not for the entire anura, mind you.) musrooms are also used as printing blocks, alongside wood. The prints are of pastural objects, such as plants, and are often simple silluettes that are symetrical.

Middle class worker

More prints, brighter colours, actively wearing your bank account on you with those gold bangles, these people are tailors, crafters, lacemakers and people with specialised skills. No jewlery bcz the people of famine are all pious and humble like that.

Celebration costume

Dressing up means long sleeves that are not fit for work but good to dance in, yellow garments that shouldnt be worn daily lest they get dirty, can be worn as your "sunday best" to show your devotion and joy. Also in any weddings you attend for the same reason! Still not expensive, but takes more effort to make.

Pt 2 to my clothing thingie with cultist fashion! HUGE RAMBLE:

Starting from left, the cat is wearing patterned greenish pants that are very richly colored despite the rest of their clothing being very mute and patternless (ignore the red cloth with the eye for now). Well we can guess that the gree used to be a leshy green, much cooler and brighter, but was dyed with onion skins to be more mute after the follower converted, this would also explain it being a patterned underpiece. We can see this cat isnt very rich from their eveything else but a devout worshipper would have some money left to the side for a proper overlayer to wear to rituals and sermons, you know, to show their devotion, and to impress the neighbor!

And that overlayer surely would not be apropriate after getting saved from a sacrifice and bowing to your saviour, and what better way to show your shift in allience than to ruin your overcoat by dyeing it with the most common and cheap dye available to you and turning it into an underlayer that would get dirty much more often. Ya know the simple farmers politics.

(Getting back to the red cloth with the eye) And of course we will be playing the same farmers politics in this cult as well. The rich deep reds are excusive to the diciples but how intricate the designs are in your dull red fabric is entirely based on how much you pay the tailor to spend time weaving it ;) I assume there would not be many places in the Lands that sold variations of red fabrics its the cultists (or tailors) job to weave their own shit now. Wich is much more FREEDOM alongside much more work.

THE DICIPLE ROBE i love itt. The robe itself is simple but im very proud of myself for making the belt. Ya know how cristians love a hanged Jesus? That. And the blood dripping is obsidian beads <3 Back when lamby was a vessel it was maybe red cut glass (cuz they were poor) or maybe wax.

Im not sure about their hats? Nowadays and in the game too mortals dont wear hats and it has significance but since hats and veils used to be very common for eveyone for a big chunk of our recorded history in lots of places on earth I have a thing for them. May take it out bc espacially the diciples hat looks like the blue crown but since lamby killed them maybe its not important anymore? The other hats dont look like crowns so im less worried about that. But if the conic hat goes eveyones hat goes, only veils from now on!

The thingies hanging from the belt are prayerbeads and a self grooming kit. It has a little comb, knife, and scraper for dirt under nails and ear wax. (And maybe other thing idk i didnt think too hard about this)

Also remember me saying color black is the color of divinity, notice somethig about the diciple? ;) honestly I have so many thoughts about the linguistic change the worsd holy and unholy must have went through in this world my little nerd brain is yippeing to me about it. My fave words in english are "awful" and "villain" and only in the context of cotl "holy" :D

I turned the missionary neclace into a muska. Thats all i can say about the hunter im sorry. Ive drained mysef of ramble. Actually no, I was gonna mix the concept of a muska with talismatic shirts but changed my mind later on. Muska cover what the missionary neclace is supposed to be. No need to overcomplicate it for the rule of cool. But im definately gonna use talismatic shirts somewere.

If you look closely on the first two they have huge grid areas where a different letter is written in each grid, wich was what most looked cool to me, was gonna add some writing like that to the neclace but changed my mind.
